actually been listening to this a lot recently, really fell in love with Of Things Yet to Come. beautiful song

 

i don't even know if i think this is good aside from 3-4 songs, but for whatever reason i still find myself returning to it on occasion, which is more than i can say for their last few.

tonight's Paramore support set was wild

 

they played it last night on the Paramore tour, song is called High Life

 

New song is super fun, different bubbly sound for them

 

Talking Heads energy

 

Big TH influence on it. Makes me love it even more.

Have a 4 day weekend ahead of me. I’m gonna blast High Life when I head home on the train.

 

I’ve only just noticed that there is a deluxe version of Alpha Games on Spotify. The drums on the 3 bonus tracks are absolutely stellar, especially “Strut”.

 

Strut is honestly a great tune. lyrically seems dumb on the surface but it's sneakily a nice little character study, Kele hasn't done a lot of those since Weekend

 

new song Keep It Rolling out Friday feat KennyHoopla

they also played a second new song this week called Blue. looks like we're getting an EP.

For sure sounds like a Weekend in the City, which is nothing but praise. The melody is a bit too close to Rhododendrons in places, but I'll take it. It's my favorite song they've released since Leaf Skeleton from Four.

 

Not sure on tracklisting but that is a clip of Blue so at the very least it's that, the title track and Keep It Rolling.
