Yeah I'm having a ton of fun despite the lack of various game modes. 25 hours in a week, haven't played a shooter this much since Halo 3/COD 4
I played for a week straight in the early beta and loved it. Got real boring, real fast. I think the competitive queue will help it out a lot, but again, it's not released right now so I can't make a good faith judgement call on the game based on what's coming rather than what is.
Honestly for me a week straight is worth the money. If I get a week's worth of fun out of a game I'm happy. I feel like there's a lot more than that here for me though, there's still characters I haven't even touched and I feel like I've only just started getting good with my favourites. I just think it's such a fantastically well made game that deserves people's attention and money, haha.
I know this is probably a common thing but in Ilios there is that big hole that is also a objective. There was an opposing D Va next to it and I used my boost to circle around the building and push her right into the hole. I laughed way to much at it.
I love that depending on my mood, I can pick a different character. Keeps it so much more interesting.
Gotta agree that at the moment the game doesn't have much content to justify full RRP. If you're talking in terms of how much time you're putting into it then that's gonna be different for everyone, but content wise it could do with more. Yeah you can switch up characters but the core of it remains the same throughout. The game itself is fun as hell but in the coming couple of weeks I'm expecting the player count to trail off pretty hard. In my opinion we need more modes, more skins (there is a lot, but many are the same with different colour schemes), and new forms of progression rewards. Once you get to level 20 unlocks become painfully slow.
Am I the only one who finds Phara's jump hard to control whilst aiming? It's just a pain clicking A repeatedly, moving my right analogue stick around and pressing RT sometimes.
You hold down A. :) also I am terrible at her. The whole point of her is to stay above ground and I keep messing up. I think I'll practice vs AI. I tried symmetra for the first time yesterday and I had fun. Zenyatta is actually pretty cool too. I think this game did a wonderful job with the support characters.
This is the first non sports game I've gotten into in about a decade and I don't play any other games...I think I'll be enamored with it for a while haha. You guys would know better but is blizzard likely to update and patch in new maps over time?
So is it wrong of me to refuse playing in games where I'm he highest rated player? I don't want people thinking my level 23 is reflective of my playing ability haha.
Been really getting invested into Genji and Junkrat. Though they need to fix Junkrats special. It's not fair that you can't disrupt Reapers or Hanzos op specials, but with one shot Junkrats is done.
