Most of the epics I've gotten out of Old Gods have seemed pretty useless. Blood of the Ancient One, Validated Doomsayer, Twilight Summoner, Scaled Nightmare. More flavor than anything. Cyclopian Horror and Ancient Harbinger are at least situationally good. Faceless and BGH I put in every deck, regardless of the BGH nerf (which has actually lost me a game once! I didn't think a two mana increase on such an essential card would be that big of a deal.) And the giants are fun to build around. I don't really feel as compelled to put something like Validated Doomsayer or Scaled Nightmare in a deck. They're not really stupidly bad, though (Blood of the Ancient One, maybe) so I haven't been able to justify dusting them without trying them out.
Is anyone else disliking standard? Now that the newness has worn off I'm finding myself really frustrated climbing the ladder. With decks like aggro shaman, miracle rogue, and midrange hunter the burst damage is just as high as it was with the druid combo but I feel like I've lost so many tools I can't deal with them. Nothing I play seems to be working.
Druid lost its board clear. I can't get C'Thun Druid to work, everyone else's deck is always faster and the taunts never stick. My Asia Region Control Paladin is all Classic cards except Ragnaros Lightlord. Point being: I haven't had much success using Old Gods cards. It's easy to synergize around C'Thun, but outside of that I don't see any good patterns so far--not even with the kinds of decks I've been facing. Maybe token Divine Shield Druid or Freeze Mage?
I don't understand why my C'Thun decks never seem to work. I can't possibly just be having bad match-ups or bad draws or bad luck 100% of the time??? I never have board control using C'thun decks. Handlock gets a win easy-peasy, then C'Thun deck (Druid, Mage, Priest) lose 3-5 times before winning once.
I wish they had cross play of some sort in a dedicated playlist, so many people I know on different platforms.
i don't buy the whole mouse and keyboard is better than the controller thing that blizzard said. i've obliterated enemy teams on PC via SMITE and Overwatch using a controller. i'm still recovering from CTS so using a controller is more comfortable for me and i will probably be continuing to do this so i don't have issues again.
Yeah I get repetitive strain injury from playing games with mouse and keyboard so I use a controller. Doesn't completely solve the problem but it's more comfortable, and I still do perfectly fine. I think the game will suffer in the long run without cross platform, mainly on consoles.
At high level play m+kb obliterates controllers, but at lower skill levels I don't think the difference is all that much. I'm butts so I don't see a lot of high level PC FPS play heh
got 8948 healing done with 34% of team damage taken as lucio. next loot box i open? lucio skin and lucio icon. XD
didn't see this post earlier :( sorry about that, i know it's tough. i've been taking breaks and doing exercises. the past couple of weeks have been much better for me. this wrist brace has also helped: Mueller Green Fitted Right Wrist Brace | Walgreens
Lucio is my main guy so far too. I tend to stay away from Defense, love playing Support/Tank the most. Also, I tend to do better on games with a controller. You only need a certain amount of buttons on this game, and the aiming isn't TOO hard compared to other FPS's. I haven't had a problem yet so far on PC. What level is everyone? I've been off work this week and have had nothing better to do. Already 22... I read the XP bar is the same for each level after 22 and there's no limit? The no limit part I have no problem with, but it takes foreverrrrr to level now. Kinda broken system just for them to make money it seems.
