I can’t believe battle for Azeroth is two months away and patch 8.0 is probably a few weeks away at most
This one took me a few tries. Had one where Sense Demons made a Useless Imp, Skull of Man'ari pulled it, then Bloodreaver Gul'dan resurrected it and I was like NOOOOooooo
Just to give you a glimpse of the kind of deckbuilder I am: this is stupid and shouldn't work (and yet sometimes somehow does?) Shallow Gravedigger x2, Stonehill Defender x2, Branching Paths, Forest Guide x2, Twig of the World Tree, Twilight Drake x2, Bewitched Guardian x2, Big Game Hunter, Dollmaster Dorian, Duskfallen Aviana, Cairne Bloodhoof, Illidan Stormrage, Mossy Horror, The Black Knight, Ancient of Lore, Ancient of War, Marin the Fox, The Lich King, Cenarius, Onyxia, Sea Giant x2, Ultimate Infestation, Mountain Giant x2 Rarity Breakdown: basic - 0, common - 0, rare - 10, epic - 10, legendary - 10 Mana Breakdown: 0-0, 1-0, 2-0, 3-4, 4-6, 5-5, 6-4, 7-2, 8-2, 9-2, 10-3, 11-0, 12-2 Set Breakdown: Witchwood-7, Kobolds-3, Frozen-4, Un'Goro-2, Classic-14 Minion/Non-Minion Ratio: 27:3 (2 Spells, 1 Weapon) As you can see, everything about it screams "not at all a good idea." Buuut I also really enjoy this: Crypt Lord, Phantom Militia, Stonehill Defender, Tar Creeper, Witching Hour Saronite chain Gang, Strongshell Scavenger, Swipe, Twig of the World Tree, Corpse Raiser, Faceless Manipulator, Fungalmancer, Rotten Applebaum, Witchwood Grizzly, Spreading Plague, Cenarius (everything x2 except the legendaries) Rarity Breakdown: basic - 2, common - 8, rare - 16, epic - 2, legendary - 2 Mana Breakdown: 0-0, 1-0, 2-0, 3-10, 4-7, 5-10, 6-2, 7-0, 8-0, 9-1 Set Breakdown: Witchwood-8, Kobolds-3, Frozen-10, Un'Goro-4, Classic-3, Basic-2 Minion/Non-Minion Ratio: 23:7 (6 Spells, 1 Weapon) Still an over-reliance on minions, and still nothing under 3-cost. But as you can see, it has some more obvious combos/synergies: Witchwood Grizzly with Witching Hour, Corpse Raiser, and Faceless Manipulator; Strongshell Scavenger with basically everything. Also, whereas the deck above is kind of just an excuse to bust out some old Classic legendaries, this deck is mostly synergizing the expansions I used to believe in keeping the minion/non-minion ration close to 15:15, having a logical mana curve, and including a good amount of basic and common cards. Not only did I grow out of that, but I also grew out of building any archetypal deck that I'd play against way too often. I'm seeing way too many OTK Priests/Mages, Cube Druids/Warlocks, Spell Hunters, Pick Pocket Rogues, and Shudderwock Shamans. Too many deck types that are hardly interactive. And where the heck are the Paladins? I still enjoy this game, but as with any multiplayer game, I hate that there's a meta. Introducing Standard and Wild was the best thing Blizzard could've done, and it's still shitty. People aren't experimenting and doing stupid shit. I've spent so much time (and, recently, money...) collecting cards. I really wish there were more AI options to play against, because obviously PvP can be annoying with facing the same decks over and over. But, like I said, the Innkeeper is a good place to do stupid shit, oddly because you know what to expect. I just played Knife Juggler x2 + Wispering Woods and it was hilarious. People aren't being creative enough with this game. tl;dr Will probably take a break from this (and Blizzard in general) after Taverns of Time ends on July 3rd. Maybe even wait until the next expansion. I have so many other games I want to get to, and so many shows I need to watch! Aaand I need to get my life together... I get too addicted to things, got no self control for moderation, heh.
thrall, i may re roll too and we can level up together, or i have a ton of alts ranging from levels 30-105 so once you hit the same level as whatever alt i wanna play we can link up as well. and if you need me to take you through some dungeons i can carry you on my main 110 rogue. also i have a ton of gold and can give you a few grand to help you out on a fresh server.
Dope. I’m thinking about rogue or warlock. I main’d a havoc DH for all of legion. And switched to Warrior for the last raid tier. I’ll add you when I get on in a little bit. Gonna do a +15 and level up my trinket and then figure out what I’m gonna roll.
My other 110 is a lock but it’s ally and I’m playing horde now especially with how their capital city looks in bfa. But yeah I’m always gonna main my rogue it was the first character I ever made and besides wrath and cata when I mained priest my rogue has always been my main. Beginning of legion I tried maining lock but affliction was bad at the start of the xpac so of course I faction changed and leveled my rogue and have mained it for the majority of legion. Rogue is just the perfect class for what I’m looking for in the game, they feel so natural (I play assassination) with enough depth to be interesting but not overly complex and reliant on ridiculous rng (like outlaw *shudders*)
OMG THIS WAS PERFECT. FIRST TRY. Turn 5: Mechano-Egg Turn 6: Spikeridged Steed Turn 7: Desperate Stand + Faceless Manipulator Turn 8: Redemption Turn 9: Sound the Bells! x2 + Blessed Champion Poor guy didn't have the proper silence/removal, played Swipe when all the eggs came back with 1 health. I couldn't stop laughing.
