so far the legion storylines have been great. i actually care about these characters, cant say that about an expansion since wrath
I cared about some of the minor orc characters in WoD, but on the whole yeah that was pretty uninteresting.
when blizz introduced time travel in WoW i was like ok weve now jumped the shark the lore is fucked. but legion has been great storywise. Arthas is probably the best character and villian in WoW, but the burning legion are just a terrifying and interesting enemy to fight. gettin real sick of khadgars shit though let me tell you
i just realized im a fucking idiot. suramar city isnt an actual city you can go to, its a fucking raid area. ive been sitting here trying to find these emissaries to turn in my world quest stuff because WoWHead said they were in Suramar city, but nope theyre in their zones.
i gotta say, Blizz really stepped it up with Suramar. Its a great zone. Confusing at first, as documented by my posts in this thread, but a great great zone.
I have been taking my time with Legion with the free time I've had lately. Having a blast though and hope the end game keeps me in. If it doesn't, I really wouldn't mind trying other classes and get the artifact weapons/run dungeons/do BGs instead. I feel like that's what they kinda set up for in this expansion which I'm okay with.
I got to 103 on my Paladin and chose to wait until then to decide it was kind of boring, so I've gone back to my super old warrior for the first time in like 5 years. He was only level 71 so I started the long grind to 100. Just started MoP content. Warrior is a much more fun class though. Dungeon finder takes so long to find a group as tank or DPS though. Healers must find a group instantly.
It's the best expansion they've done in a long time. I just hit 110 yesterday and have been playing off and on since it came out. Apparently it all opens up after that. Like I said before, its not as life consuming as it once was and I still have fun even though I'll never get the "best" gear. I haven't since Burning Crusade maybe? Only time I really raided but I've always been about PvP towards the end game, which was sooooo terrible last expansion. The new honor points and such are made for players like me. Also I can't believe I've been playing the game for over ten years! Of course, I've gone on hiatus for sometimes 2-3 years, but still. Crazy to think about.
wow, christ metzen is retiring. fuck, dude is an inspiration and is responsible for so much of what i love about the warcraft universe. this kind of stings. Chris Metzen to Retire from Blizzard
Super happy for him, but yeah, he's responsible for a huge part of the universe. 20+ years with them, it's insane.
I feel like disc is the worst now, honestly. They redid it and now it's truly half DPS/half heal, but unless you're an expert I feel like you're better off just going shadow or holy. It's a unique playstyle but really challenging.
i would probably fuck everything up if i tried pve on my disc priest but its fun in pvp. might level it to 110 after my rogue
locks are fucked rn in terms of pve so i wanna level another class but am having a real hard time picking which class to level. i have rogue, hunter, dk, priest, and dh all at 100 and i still havent used my free boost so its wide open.
