rest of the cards getting revealed on twitch now!

12 mana costs 1 less for each spell you've cast this game giant has me stoked for my yogg deck

both hunter cards (3 mana 3/4 your secrets cost 0), and new 'when the other player casts a spell summon a jungle panther) look promising for that deck too

lol priest definitely got the worst set of cards despite already being the worst class :crylaugh:

  2. And priest continues to get completely screwed.

    WoW experts in here:

I'm a casual player wanting to get better in prep for Legion, so I've pre-purchased and used my level 100 boost on a new hunter.

However, the gear he's been dumped with looks like level 5 gear, so I'm soloing old raids to unlock new transmogs. I've looted a few items that can't be worn (such as Leggings of the Fiery Protector), what do I do with them? The icon shows leggings but they have no stats, it just says the classes that can use it.

I've been told by someone that I can use it to buy the actual leggings from somewhere but I have to buy them with gold first - but then what's the point of the item I've already got?

  8. The tier tokens can be traded in for specific armor pieces from vendors. You have to be the correct class to trade in the token, (Protector for example is Warrior, Hunter, Shaman, and Monk). Each raid has a different vendor to turn in the tokens, and unfortunately the vendors are in different locations for each raid. Some are in major cities, some are near the raids, and some are in totally obscure locations. In the case of the Firelands tier, the normal tier has to be purchased from the vendor for gold and then the heroic token can be used to upgrade the item. In the last few expansions, each tier set has different colors and slight changes to the armor depending on what difficulty the item was obtained.

Gotcha, so if I buy the item from the vendor for 300g and then trade in the item and the token, I'll get the same item but better?

That's kind of annoying. I was hoping to just plough through the old raids and unlock old appearances. Can't do that if I've gotta pay 300g a piece.

  10. I've never cared much about collecting old appearances so I can't help much with that, but glad there are others playing WoW here, I'm all in as of about a week ago.

I'm probably gonna have a ton of questions because there's a lot of older systems in the game that I'm not sure how they work.

For example, I'm totally new to raiding and I'm using the raid finder at the moment, but the options it gives me to queue for aren't in the adventure guide. The finder has Walled City, Arcane Sanctum, Imperator's Rise etc., while the guide only has Draenor, Highmaul, Blackrock Foundry and Hellfire Citadel. Are they all the same or what? And how can I do the raid at a harder difficulty, since the LFG thing always asks for iLvl 700+ but I only have 630?

  12. Walled City, Arcane Sanctum, and Imperator's Rise are the three wings of the Highmaul raid, so the finder just splits out the instances into separate sections. Also, ilvl requirements for Highmaul LFR are 615 I think, so I don't know why it's asking you for 700?

I suspected as much but it's not made very clear. So those four raids from WoD essentially are the same story broken into four sections?

The raid finder isn't asking for 700 ilvl, I mean other players are requesting that in the pre-made group list thing. In the description people write "MUST be ilvl 700+" and don't let me join.

  15. The higher your ilvl gets, the more wings of raids unlock for the raid finder. You can also get higher ilvl gear from mythic dungeons, PvP, and crafting until you can move up to higher difficulty raids. Doing the legendary ring quests will give you a boost as well.

Honestly though, there isn't much reason to grind for better gear since it'll be obsolete as you level in the next expansion.

  16. Yeah I got back on this game when Demon Hunter came out. Fun class but I'm so burned out on tanking and melee classes. It feels a lot like a druid tank, which isn't bad, but like I said I'm just burned out on it.

So I went back to the Priest w/my boost. Love the new Disc spec. But yeah, all you really should do is the Legion invasions for the cool looking gear and easiest way to get lvl 700 gear. Raids and such are kinda pointless and not worth the frustration. If you want better looking gear just run old raids. Better off doing questing, garrison stuff, rep stuff, profs, or dailies. Especially if you're getting a feel for the game again like me.

Raid gear not being the best is shameful if true

  18. It still is I think, but idk I have some 710, 715, even a 725 on one class from doing Legion invasions. Not sure how high it is on Raids. But the new expansion is out soon and the gear will all be pointless anyway unless you love transmogging. So really, raids are kinda hard to really get invested in right now.

oh thought you were talking about new content heh.

I'm really fucking tempted to hop back on the WoW train.

  20. I keep going back to it even after I swore it off many times. Then I don't play for a year or three. I usually return around expansion time.

Honestly it's worth it even if you're not super into it and it won't consume your life like it used to. A lot more accessible than it used to be, that's for sure. If you haven't played in years it's a shock how much easier it is.

  21. do it! the game is way better with more people to play with.

What server is everyone on? I don't have any IRL buddies to play with anymore.

Only concern is how much time I'll have to play when the semester starts and if I get hardcore back into raiding.

  23. I'm on Dark Iron but honestly cross-realm is great these days, you can do basically anything in a group without being on the same realm, as long as you're the same faction. I play Alliance, not sure about others here. And I definitely don't plan on getting hardcore into raiding or anything like that, I just like questing and hanging with friends.

Well raiding is the big appeal of MMOs for me. :(
