Occupied City isn't getting great reviews and sounds a little rough

 

the reviews didn't like widows either and that's one of the best movies the last few years

 

Blitz will premiere in select cinemas on November 1 before streaming globally on Apple TV+ on November 22.

metacritic has this at 76 after about 15 reviews. was hoping for somewhat better this early...

 

just a remarkably odd movie. if you're expecting Steve McQueen War Movie, it is certainly not that.

Thought was okay. Besides some incredible cinematography and production, would not guess this was a McQueen movie.

 

Very weird coincidence that already Saoirse Ronan has been in two different films where someone fantasizes a happy ending only for it to cut to people drowning in the London Tube during the World War II bombings.
