    I'm having a perfect moment.

Is it because other than the outro chorus, the last measure is cut on all the choruses?
That took me a bit to get used to, but I love that song once it stuck.

  2. yeah, the timing of the chorus is weird, and because of it, it makes it sound like the lyrics are rushed. it's just weird and clunky. it's not enjoyable to my ears at all, so i tend to skip it most of the time.

If you take out Shut Up, the back half of TOYPAJ, to me, is up there with their best material

Sometimes I seek out Rollercoaster and Shut Up as my only plays from TOYPAJ that day

Makes me think about Tom in the album launch doc, not being able to count a basic 4/4 for the Down intro. I can't even imagine him trying to play When We Were Young live. :crylaugh:

I mean Tom really loves talking about When He Was Young, When I Was Young, When We Were Young, and rhyming anything with when he was 16, 17, 18, etc.

I initially thought so but they played the fest the day the album came out and didn’t play that song

So Travis is doing a supergroup thing, Mark is doing an Apple Music show again, and Tom is promoting his multimedia projects. I guess this truly will be a downtime for them this year (good thing).

I cried when I first saw the music video for the song. Then I cried when I first heard Anthem Part 3. Then I wanted to run through a wall when I first heard Terrified.

Listening to Dogs Eating Dogs EP this morning and I really love it but it feels kind of bizarre in their discography. Disaster literally sounds like it could be on an AvA record, Pretty Little Girl is one of my favourite songs ever but it has that weird rap in it, Mark only does about 25% of vocals on the whole thing.

Also it came out like a year after Neighbourhoods but feels like a different era (therefore it doesn't feel like leftover songs from Neighbourhoods) - does anyone know the story with why they followed up with new music so soon after?
