Did this just become the CT/104 Fest thread? I'm here for it, lol. I think my memory is hazy but I thought the 2001 - 104 fest was the blink/NFG/SUM 41 tour stop and they just turned it into 104 fest that year? I also thought pop disaster tour in 2002 they did the same thing but maybe I'm wrong about that one?
Yeah I think both tours just turned into the 104 headliners. I think STD opened for the blink/GD sets?
Radio 104 was super cool in those days. I wasn’t even in range to listen to the station but went to their festivals as they always had more eclectic lineups than K-Rock in NYC
Songs are all officially out on the east coast. I now am uncertain we are getting anything beyond that. Keeping my expectations to that in hopes I’m wrong. Edit: if this is a precedent for other things that Mark has claimed will “never happen”, I’m hoping to see Dude Ranch demos, Untitled demos, Untitled Anniversary pro footage, etc.
Went for the 25th anniversary vinyl but $70 shipped is steep. Almost bought one of the shirts but they’re pretty ugly and probably not great quality based on prior purchases..
Is the end of "Don't tell me that it over" different or what? It was not in my CD (pants) but I think it just faded at the end.
Yup this version of the ending is different from the CD, but has been floating around for a few years.
I have that ending on my 2013 vinyl with the 7-inches. Remember getting unreasonably excited when I heard those two strums, haha. The feeling of discovering something new from the, probably, most important album of my life. Edit: to say that I was on the edge of my seat is a bit much, but I was thinking about the ending the whole time while listening to the song on Apple Music this morning. Wondering if it would end with the BAM-BAM or not!
Great to finally have these available digitally, but I wish they fixed the mastering to match the other songs. It’s quite jarring when you reach the bonus tracks.
I'm glad these songs are finally on streaming. I am a bit disappointed it's not a tour. It's a hell of a flex to have billboards for some b-sides to a 25 year old album.
