. blink and good merch? That’s a good one! To be fair, They did a cool TOYPAJ hoodie I got years ago but pretty sure that’s when MRTSURT was still running the show
I bought the red disc first and didn't realize at that point there were three versions. Eventually got them all. Also picked up my Game Boy Advance which had come out the day before. So that was a good day
I was the first of my friends who bought all 3. I burned them all discs with all 19 tracks. Those were the days… lol
I wouldn’t say it’s out of the question for them to do an anniversary tour next year. Motion City did a 16-17 year anniversary tour of Commit This to Memory, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility. Buuuut it’s probably just a reissue with the bonus tracks finally on streaming. Which is awesome in and of itself alone.
Team green. And when this originally came out, I thought each one was just randomized so there’d be no way of knowing how to collect all 3. But then way later I realized the hype sticker showed which version they were.
This but with Yellow for me. I knew there were different versions, but for some reason I thought it was random and didn't bother to look at the different hype stickers.
As a forever Tom guy, I was team Yellow immediately, but I just made my poor mom buy me all 3. Good times...
Really wish i knew this hype sticker info 25 years ago. It would've been helpful. I obviously wasn't hanging around the right people.
I went in order: red (favorite color), yellow (Tom, favorite member), green (HAVE to complete the collection)
When the three versions of TOYPAJ came out, I sought them all out throughout the summer of 2001. By chance, the Yellow version was my first purchase.
TOYPAJ easily had the best packaging/aesthetic they've ever had. Sooo cool. I'm glad SRC did a similar packaging style with their vinyl pressing. One of my favorite records I own.
My brother and I both bought copies when it came out and we both got green by chance. I remember going to my family cottage a few weeks later and a family friend had red and we exchanged CDs for the week so we could listen to each other’s bonus tracks lol
I was too young to get in on the hype back then. I do remember my friend saying he had gotten the new blink-182 CD but I really only knew ATST, Dammit, and WMAA at that point. This album then ushered in that huge wave of "edgy" pop punk which I eventually could not escape.
