I think this is more than just a merch drop. In the past they’ve just released the album merch stuff randomly without a “sign up” page. At least that’s what I want to believe D:
If it wasn’t for TOYPAJ, I would not be who I am today. There is a very distinct before and after in my life. Before TOYPAJ, I went to dance class and wanted to be a backstreet boy After TOYPAJ, I bought a skateboard and pretended to skateboard so the punk kids wouldn’t call me words I can’t say on this site. The rest is history
If they are planning a TOYPAJ anniversary tour for 2027, I'll be very pleased! I neeeeeed to see "ETILFY" live finally.
99% chance it is just merch. But my friends are freaking out that there will be a short run of TOYPAJ shows. I'll settle for the bonus tracks to finally come to streaming.
I just about have my credit card paid so that means I'm ready to splurge (on the lips) and get myself a ticket to wherever I need to go to see a TOYPAJ show.
A TOYPAJ front to back show is the only thing that would get me more excited and hopeful about the world than when IT happens.
Blink 182 “celebrating” the album by playing Anthem Pt. 2, First Date, Rock Show, Stay Together, and Reckless Abandon.
They said they aren’t doing anymore shows this year. I don’t think they’d do 21 years of TOYPAJ next year.
Yeah, cause the 20 year tour was a rousing success... Seriously though, i bet it would be a totally different ballgame Tom doing those album shows instead of Matt, and that's no shade at Matt
yeah I skipped that tour because it was Matt honestly, but I’d pay crazy money to see it with Tom (or TOYPAJ)
TOYPAJ shows at the Sphere would be pretty epic. I was just checking the schedule and there are some weekends in December that haven’t been announced yet.
To be fair, you can do an anniversary celebration at any point in the 12 months preceding or suceeding the actual release date. A lot of bands (MCR, Sleeping With Sirens, PVRIS, State Champs) have been doing anniversary tours that don't neatly line-up with the actual anniversary year.
Bright Eyes just did 21 year anniversary for Wide Awake and Digital Ash and the joke is the album is old enough to drink now...that's also pretty fitting for TOYPAJ.
I don't know if that warrants a mailing list sign up thing, BUTTTTT that will be very exciting for us who've been waiting for them to be on streaming for a million years. And will be even more exciting to all the casual fans that have no idea that any of those songs even existed.
Happy for those who will finally be able to hear these even though it takes just a minimal amount of effort to add them to your local library of the preferred streaming device. LAZY.
