I do appreciate the memories from that era, but looking back it was very easy to see how fake and forced it felt.

•Honda Civic Tour was my first time ever seeing blink
•The absolute HYPE for a new blink album and getting to Best Buy at opening
•Flying to LA on a day trip to see Untitled in full and getting on a red-eye back to DC to make class in time
•DED release was fun to experience

All built up and then led to the downfall and eventual second Tom departure, but it’s all a timeline in this universe that led us to 2022 and eventually One More Time. I’m fine with that.

 

The highlight of that era for me was watching the band inside of a bag of Doritos.

 

The highlight for me was winning the contest on AP.net for best story about how you got into blink 182 and then not responding to @Jason Tate with my address in the message so then I didn’t get my prize pack because I’m a doofus

I wonder if they'd do something at the Sphere similar to what No Doubt is doing right now. I've never been and don't think there are many bands that would draw me there, but I'd definitely have to catch at least 2 shows if they did that.

Also went through some of my blink stuff yesterday looking at setlists, picks, confetti from the shows I went to and we were so truly blessed with the touring we received from these dudes this far into their career.
