Apparently a new Hillary Duff single drops tomorrow called “Growing Up”. Lyrics are familiar (they got credit): And it'll happen once again I'll turn to you, friend 'Cause I know you'll understand You will until the end And when everybody's gone They got busy and moved on We'll face it on our own And I guess this is growing up I guess this is growing up
Listen good for him. He messed up the bag so bad, he deserves it. I’m sure this question has been poised countless times but in the alt timeline he stays the drummer, do we think blink becomes what blink is now? I feel like the answer is no. Travis’ style as a drummer and aesthetically is too signature the band. Scott had no sauce
Absolutely, Travis is the secret sauce in any project he ever does. You never have to wonder if it’s him drumming. Between that and his insane marketability in appearance, social stature, various high profile romantic entanglements, he gave them all the right pushes at all the right times.
Scott was averse to the band getting any bigger, and I don't think he wanted a band to be his full-time thing anyway. I feel like in any other timeline he was bound to leave eventually.
Yup, if replacing Scott wasn't an option, either he would have wanted to leave if the band got too big for his liking, or he would have drank too much, and the band would have broken up.
I feel like they would've been stuck in the punk vein of the pop-punk genre without Travis. I think he helped them to branch out beyond their past guidelines.
For sure they wouldn't have moved onto Untitled without Travis. Can't even picture Scott on Adam's Song lol. I know they recorded Mutt with Scott so I feel like an Enema with Scott wouldn't have been as different as we imagine, but Travis obviously elevated those songs.
If Scott stayed, EOTS would've been the same songs (minus Adam's Song and ATST) at 1.25x faster with a generic bass-snare-bass-snare beat over all of them.
You mean the song she released on her album that's streaming on all platforms? Yes that is a real song
The Hillary duff riff on dammit rules. Feels like the highest level artist doing the blink cover that’s been happening a bunch. Too bad Travis didn’t do a new drum part or produce on it.
