The best of both worlds

 

Not sure if it's just me but seeing a lot of great late 90s early 2000s blink stuff I've never seen before. It might just be me but my collection back then was massive.

 

Turned 44 today so obviously had to listen to this:

For a second I thought you meant the album had turned 44 and had a mini panic that I’d skipped 20 years.

Originally, I had a link to the Google Maps street view of the school they shot the "Josie" music video at, but today I finally realized that I could have shown actual locations from the beginning of the video.

- Tom skates left to right down this sidewalk at the beginning of the video
- This is the angle of Scott walking up to Tom
- Tom and Scott stand just to the left of where the banner is
- Mark's mom's car pulls up to drop him off here. She stops the car just over the crosswalk lines
- All the kids laughing at Mark for kissing his mom on the cheek are standing in front of this bridge (and then Mark walks down it as they continue laughing at him)

Went into the grocery store and heard Skiba, they were playing Misery of all songs. I was so thrown off it took like ten seconds to compute what song it was lol

 

Similarly, I heard Blame It On My Youth in a grocery story last summer and it made me realize I legit forgot about that song for a minute

 

Still can't believe we got Anthem pt 3.

I'm gonna listen to that song till I die. Should be in every set going forward, forever.

 

The fake out ending in Anthem 3 will forever blow my mind. I specifically remember where I was when I first heard it

 

me too! it's so fucking awesome when your favorite band still cranks out great shit.

 

Blink's playing the Innings Festival in 10 days. Probably same setlist as the last tour?

Posted this release day and still feel it every time I hear this song. This song encapsulates all the triumphant brotherhood and magic of this era. Seeing it live was unreal.

 

Will have to check this out when im back in LA. I think i did almost all of the San Diego stuff from your list back in 2015. I wanted to do the wmaa sidewalk this summer in LA but didn't have a chance. Apparently taking my son to Disneyland is more important than seeing where three dudes ran around naked.

Will forever be sad that Tom was sick at our show and they had to cut anthem pt 3 and carousel and brought that fan on stage that didn't know any of the words to first date lol

 

A true tragedy, indeed. Was cool to hear Mark sing some of it though.
