I mean if you like Topanga then it’s cool to hear them talking together but there’s nothing new or memorable in the interview. It’s short, about 25ish minutes if you fast forward the ads.
Is there somewhere that comprehensively lists who’s written what songs? Really the main riffs of songs?I know officially all three get credit for most songs but like we know mark wrote dammit and Adam’s song but is there something official? Or even best guess from fans? @bradsonemanband
I'm not sure if there's a list that's that specific, but I do know Mark confirmed that he wrote the riffs to Dammit, Man Overboard, What's My Age Again?, and Adam's Song.
Thanks it came up on their subreddit and it got me thinking. I feel like up to toypaj whoever sang the most likely wrote the song but like songs like pathetic or m&ms could go either way. I’ve seen somewhere that mark and tom equally wrote carousel. Anyway would be a fun rabbit hole to go down.
Fuck it, I’m triple posting. It’s my birthday. I can do what I want. I got both of these funkos for 40 bucks so I’m lit
Is there a consensus on the “best sounding” live video from the most recent tour? I have a flight on Friday and looking to download one to watch.
Breaks my heart cuz that was one of like 5 songs on California that I loved. Reddit comments ruined it completely for the band.
Showed my friend The Only Thing That Matters & San Diego to my friend who said Skiba era wasn’t that good. he ended up revisiting California and said it’s actually good
Yeah, I would be curious to see their creative process for those earlier days. I definitely think up until Untitled, their playing styles were a lot more similar so it wasn't as apparent who wrote what. They were just way more split between "Mark-led songs" and "Tom-led songs" back then so you could sort of infer who wrote them. Starting at Untitled though (and thanks to AvA) the Tom-isms became really easy to spot so it was pretty clear when he wrote the riffs or not. Their guitar playing on Neighborhoods diverged quite a bit.
Threw on OMT Pt2 this morning. That riff in No Fun is, well, fun. I remember Travis teased a music video for All In My Head, but obviously never happened. That song should've gotten a push as a big single.
We also never got a music video for Turpentine or Childhood which were both rumored. Did we really only get two music videos (OMT and Edging)?
My guess is that they take 2026 off from touring. They've been touring pretty non-stop for three years.
They weren't even supposed to really tour in 2025, so I doubt there are big plans for 2026 beyond one-offs.
