Also- sounds like there's a few of us heading to the NH show- sounds like a chorus tailgate/meetup might be in order!
I like the online ceramics stuff (namely the bunny shirt and dammit shirt), and I'm happy they'll have some quality blanks for their merch, but I can't justify spending that much on a shirt right now, sadly.
Welp, said fuck it and bought a closer seat, lol. Now in Section 1C, aisle seat closer to center. Row 19. Just couldn't justify pit. But this is MUCH better than my last ticket, which I already sold, lol.
He's reading it as a hint to bring Bored To Death back in the set because that's how he feels by Chapter 4. (P.S Haven't read it.)
I’m surprised they haven’t changed any songs yet. I’m kinda glad that Online Songs and Josie are locked in, but I would also love a little chaos with a shake up.
Show tonight was awesome. They only played about 1 hour 20 min so kinda strange to me they haven’t added anything in place of cutting One more time and BTD. super good time regardless, lots of fun banter between Mark and Tom. Thought it was funny before playing Natives Mark said something like “No one in the crowd has liked this song the last 3 nights but we like it so we’re gonna keep playing it”
Mark is the least chaotic person on earth. The fact he even put Online Songs in the set is an actual miracle lol
Good. He needs to keep that energy, drag the crowd along with you kicking and screaming if you have to!
And Roller Coaster! And they actually practiced Everytime I Look For You and all 3 Anthems back to back to back.
Also maybe I just haven’t been paying attention but don’t think I’ve seen $50 t-shirts the norm at a show until now. Other shows for other bands at amphitheaters I’ve been to this year were $45. I did end up buying the $40 hat lol
No crowd pop for Natives is a weird one because I've always had a soft spot for that on Neighborhoods. First time I heard GOTDF into Natives back in 2011 was an amazing moment, and even though I'll handily take OMT and the Dogs Eating Dogs EP stuff over it, it's held up decently.
I was about to hit play on Neighborhoods cuz it's been awhile since I've revisited it, but as soon as I looked over the tracklisting, I was like "Ugh... I can't do this right now." I can't think of another album that I was SO letdown by, and it still stings.
