My significantly less impressive flex is I saw the extremely limited run with Skiba where they actually played a couple of NINE songs. lol seems less likely to hear Darkside that Apple Shampoo again.
They sounded even better than last year's tour which was surprising. Their presence, production, and overall sound are getting BETTER in this golden reunion timeline.
I don't mind scoping out setlists (especially because they're likely to have swap outs), but I am gonna try my hardest to avoid watching the intro video and the set changes etc. I assume they'll bring all that to Riot Fest.
Yeah this may have solidified me going to a future "first stop of the tour" date. Having no expectations, no idea how they'd open, just everything being a surprise. This is really cool that we are getting this smaller run of shows with deep cuts and some smaller venues. I truly wonder how next year will pan out for them.
I’m sure at some point Matt Will go up and sing with them, I guess they don’t want to spoil everything in the first show? The Chicago date should be special.
Man Mark sounds great. I remember him saying he struggled vocally post chemo, but you can tell he's been working on it.
