Someone in my blink collector group on Facebook just posted a photo of the hats. The asterisk is a sticker haha.
Yeah, just the signature is embroidered: Collection: Blink182 frontman Tom DeLonge and To The Stars* have joined forces with his hometown San Diego Padres to bring fans two ultra-exclusive New Era 59FIFTY™ fitted caps that blur the lines between music, sports, and street culture. These aren't just any hats – they're the same monochromatic pink and blue colorways that Tom rocks from stage to studio, now available exclusively on ToTheStars.Media and at Petco Park’s official team store. Each cap features the classic Padres logo embroidered on the front panels, the iconic MLB Batterman logo on the back, and Tom's signature displayed on the side panel. Built on New Era's flagship 59FIFTY™ platform – the originator of the true fitted and a legend in both athletic and street wear – these limited-edition pieces represent the perfect fusion of San Diego music, culture and baseball tradition that only this collaboration could deliver.
Pit ticket secured for Hollywood, FL. Truly cannot express how excited I am. First time I'm ever witnessing the first show of a blink tour. I literally have no expectations! Anxiety can't even eff with me! EDIT: I probably could've gotten pit tickets for under market on day-of, but Ticketmaster just put up more regularly priced ones after fishing those crazy VIP price tickets.
You know what it is, you know what it is? A lot of these people are just now jumping on the pink hat bandwagon, I've been wearing pink hat since like 1995. I'm old school wearing-pink-hat guy.
One More Time is still so damn great. What an album. Part II just adds so much more to the experience.
Is it a safe(ish) bet that Alkaline's set will be similar to what they've been playing? I was going to take a look at setlist.fm and start to pull together a playlist. I'll admit I only know 3 or 4 songs from them, so I want to be fully prepared for Thursday.
They're going to play all of Maybe I'll Catch Fire at Riot Fest, so I could see them playing more than just Radio from that one on the Blink tour.
I bet they will play Oblivion and maybe/hopefully another one of the songs they produced with Travis.
I just listened to an interview with Atom and he said they wrote every song on a whiteboard to pick songs for the recent run of shows. Hoping they do some rad stuff. Travis doing Oblivion one night, Skiba doing a couple songs from his era throughout tour, pipe dream is atom doing a section of the adventure with Tom. I’m sure that’s too much production to happen, but that would be nuts. Tom said they have rehearsed elevator to do during that medley section during the OMT tour. Sky is the limit for one off tour moments on this run. It’s so cool they’re touring with trio, seems like a B market run and I would have loved to see them for this one. I always thought one an album cycle is good, but I’m bummed to miss this one.
I selfishly wish there were more OMT songs on their practice setlist. But I’ll happily take some rare older deep cuts.
Pit tickets are now $70 cheaper than when I bought mine, but stoked nonetheless for Friday in Tampa. Really hoping for some deep cuts.
I wonder if Mark’s setlist was a decoy or red herring and they’ll really surprise us with setlist stuff. Doubtful but that could be fun.
His was a decoy to get the internet talking and the setlist will be the exact same as last years tour.
Sadly admitting I've never heard Alkaline Trio aside from maybe 2 or 3 songs that were Apple Music suggested to me. I'm doing a dive into a recent setlist in order to get familiar with them for this tour and WOW. I have been missing out on some good stuff here. When Skiba was first announced as a band member in blink, I never went and did research on ALK3 because I didn't want to taint or misconstrue expectations for a new blink album. And since then I just never listened. Until now. Very excited to see them open for blink and excited to see an inevitable reunion with him during blink's set.
Some wild Alkaline Trio takes coming out of this thread today. Also glad you newbies get to see them! I got into them at Good Mourning but never got a chance to watch live until the last album cycle and they CRUSHED it
Discovered Alkaline Trio back in 2005 thanks to Rock Against Bush comp. I heard Warbrain and absolutely lost it. Then there was a video for We’ve had enough on the same CD and then again Mercy Me on NHL soundtrack and I was HOOKED ever since.
