I'm going to the first date of the tour on August 28. I don't have my pit tickets yet and starting to get antsy about whether or not prices will drop considering it's the first night of the tour. Can anyone with expertise let me know if I need to wait to day of/last minute?

Only experience i had day of tour is to the reunion tour in 23. Pit was loke 300+ on secondary market and day of at like 430 or 5 ticketmaster released additional pit for 99 bucks (face value) and I bought those and went. Only time I've ever tried though so im not sure if thats standard, or Blink magic!

For Hollywood? I was just looking at them earlier and they only had VIP Pit left. Usually a week or so before the show they turn any unsold VIP into standard admission but it’s a toss up if the prices will drop beyond that or how quickly they’ll sell.

They were definitely doing some real fuckery with the tickets on this tour. Only VIP pit ever showed up for my date. Never any face-value pit.

The NH date has been weird, too. During the pre-sales/general, it was incredibly hard to score a non-VIP pit ticket (and, realistically, that made sense because the pit is very tiny - only about eight rows of seats.) Then, about a week after the general on-sale, when the show had already "sold out", face value pit appeared and has remained available ever since. They are the only face value tickets available in the whole venue.

Nice, that's definitely giving me some hope! I'll just keep monitoring it I guess.

Yeah for Hollywood. I had noticed they went to VIP Pit about 3 weeks after the general onsale. I'll definitely keep monitoring leading up to it then. Thank you.

Would love to see the backend of a Live Nation ticket build and how they determine initial price scaling/allotment. Only time to buy a ticket for a show that will sell well is immediately during presale or the week leading up to the show when holds/VIP are released.
