It’s way up there because of Coachella, seeing them on tour, all of the genuine good will they all have, and how strong Pt.2 was giving me plenty of permission they will continue to crush in future releases. Anthem 3 gets me every single time, and I can’t help but to run the whole record through.

The harder the emo swoop on Tom & the bigger the hair on Mark the better the UNTITLED live footage is a good rule of thumb. Also Travis’s Mohawk, what a hair era for blink. Killer setlist! Going to play this tonight.

Just finished watching. They used to play SO FAST. Kind of nuts to hear how much simpler Travis’s live parts were. The Down intro and him just ripping quarter notes on the intro of Obvious were so much different in particular. His time with DJ AM took him to a whole new level live. Also did anyone catch tom noodling around with what sounds like a Whisper era guitar part before the intro to down?

That Camden performance has always been top tier. I think it's like Coachella '23, Camden '04, and Big Day Out '00 are the trinity.

Very excited to check out the upgraded version!

The live set motivated me to play Whisper. Damn this album is so special. Hasn’t hit this hard for me in years. Atom’s drum parts are incredible. The mix still sounds incredible with proper headphones on too.

Definitely would've been interesting to hear a 2005 Untitled follow up with some of the things that came out on WDNTW. But if they never broke up, I truly wonder how long they would've lasted after in terms of excellent creative output. It's almost like that step away really helped them to "get it out of their system" with the respective side projects.

Our timeline/universe is the best because if they never broke up, we would never have gotten this OMT era which is *peak*

Yeah, once the OMT era really got rolling, it became one of the best cycles I’ve ever experienced. I’ll also never forget taking that Friday off, grabbing Mario Wonder from Best Buy, and then running over to Target to grab the One More Time CD and seeing someone walking out with it in a Blink shirt.

Being in the thread when it leaked is also extremely memorable.

I don't remember OMT leaking, how many days beforehand was it?

I remember setting myself up for a Friday at home and going to listen to it but my vinyl came in a day early and my Thursday evening was set.

I think it leaked that Wednesday evening, so only a couple days early. I think I was grocery shopping or something after work when I heard, and rusheddddddd home.

Mario Wonder + One More Time was a great Friday. I was stuck at home with COVID and had an awesome time.

  13. I downloaded the leak, but told myself I wouldn't actually listen to it. But then I was like "Well, I'll just listen to the opening track." It blew my mind and I was so fucking giddy. And then the false ending part happened, and then I was like "Where the fuck has THIS band been?!?!" Still gives me chills every time I hear it. The whole album is basically flawless. Even all the bonus tracks. We're very lucky.

yeppp, when part 2 was released my initial thought was that it was okay but a big step down, but now it’s just as essential to me as the original OMT

While it didn’t need to be as drastic and dramatic as it was, the hiatus was such an amazing time for each member to do their own thing. The sheer amount of amazing albums in the break was wild. This live footage really surprised me how different Travis’s drumming, and live performance was prior to the hiatus in particular.

This is your life, are you who you want to be?

Does anyone have a nice audio rip of this show? I’ve always wanted to throw it in my library to listen to.

It reminds me of the early live Police albums where Copeland played ridiculously fast. So much fun to listen to.

The chat is mysterious and important.

I need to rewatch the whole thing back, I noticed at the first Mark and Tom both say Philadelphia...
Do they ever correct themselves? or is it really in Philadelphia when it says New Jersey?

    Camden, NJ is basically Philly.

Travis working with OG bands > new artists. Less blink lite and more rejuvenating their energy. New ak3 doesn’t sound like a blink song, it gives killer modern sound with his signature production and some sprinkling of their earlier poppy sound in there. Very psyched to hear the whole thing.

loving that they did a goldfinger song and travis produced atom and matt. None of it sounds overtly like the skiba era, but it’s just rad to see the good will continuing.

still lobbying for a +44 release with Skiba as the guitarist and vocalist. Do it BCR style where it’s just one song or a short ep. I’d settle for a blink song featuring skiba. Give mark and matt the verses, have Tom and Skiba trade vocals on the chorus, and let mark melt our brains on the bridge.

a 7 in split on this tour would also be neat.

just realized this is left foot only Travis. Must’ve been shortly after the Always video shoot when he broke it. Wild
