Listening through the blink discog today. Does anyone know why Carousel isnt on flyswatter? I thought it was the first song they did together.

 

It's possible Carousel was like the first song they started "working on" but never fully fleshed out and came back to it later down the line when working on Buddha, at least that's what I've always thought.
or maybe it was a case of Mark (I think it was Mark that said Carousel was their first song?) misremembering or a quote being misunderstood. maybe he feels Carousel was their first "real" song they worked on for a proper release/in a studio.

 

Probably didn’t have lyrics fully written yet. The legend goes that the first night they met Mark had the bass riff and Tom had the guitar riff and one of them started playing their part and the other followed and it just fit together.

If they continue with their original plan where they unveil a date under the scribble on their site, I assume that reveal would happen Wednesday at the latest.

 

I think the song and announcement are definitely Friday. But we could see some teasing and announcement of the song itself before then

 

I can’t wait for them to only announce a single (released late September) and just the album title and everyone getting mad all over again lol

I mean we'll definitely have it Thursday thanks to New Zealand. That is, unless they wait to drop it worldwide with the music video on Friday, but I don't see that happening.
