They could at least let me listen to the best album.of their lives that Tom said they made last fall while I'm waiting for this one

So hyped! Enjoying the new singles, but I have a real soft spot for the Survivors Guilt Mixtape from Kenny and Travis.

I wonder how many times material was scrapped or redone for this next era.

But also like....I remember the wait for Untitled to come out and this feels about the same haha.

Have they changed the setlist at all since Violence seemingly became a fixture? I stopped keeping track after my date lol

The hype is real. I’ve seen blink about a dozen times since the late 90s and that’s the best show I’ve ever seen. Set was perfect, energy and jokes were great. Had the best time.

Debating going to the Nashville date but my wallet is hurting this summer already. Stuck between this being the last NA tour date for a while/not knowing when they'll be back and actually saving money.

The chat is mysterious and important.

I wish there was this good of footage of what he was saying BEFORE the song too. That's the part I was talking about, where he literally had to stop talking to keep from breaking down. Really really cool to see. Means so much to him and it's so rad.

Last night he said how he wrote that song at a time when he almost ended it, and how the song took on a deeper meaning after almost losing his life 2 years ago. Also said how much it meant to him that Travis and Tom came together to support him and get back together, and the support of the fans all encouraged him to go on. I was gutted by the whole thing. Performance absolutely ruled too.

Same dude!!!! Same type of thing... Made us almost lose it the entire song... REALLY really cool to be there and see.

Still wanted to go to Nashville next week, but man. $500 for two obstructed view seats...plus 7 hour drive and a hotel. I can't swing that (at least in good conscience) with a kid on the way lol.

Yeah... ended up not being a cheap trip for me. Originally I was planning on 2-3 shows on the tour but when Chicago (closest drive) tix prices jumped up and couldn't swing a flight elsewhere... it turned into Nashville only. $400 for a one-night hotel stay, $650 for two "seated" floor tix, $220 for two Lexus Lounge passes, $100+ for baby sitter, another $100+ for dog boarding... will all be worth it.

I don’t want to think about the amount of money we’ve spent on concert tickets for 2023 haha

Haha damn that's commitment! But still, yes, I think it will be worth it. This band means so much to so many people and I have not seen literally a single person disappointed after going to a show this tour.

In all fairness, I have also bought a few tickets to other shows this year, and even though they've all been way cheaper, they basically all added up to what I would have spent on blink anyway. I basically just picked them over blink because they were all within a couple hours away from me vs. the six or seven hour drive it would have required me to see blink.

Well that partially makes up for it. This will only be my second concert since the pandemic. Having a kid now makes things increasingly difficult.

I straight up cried during that song. He shared the story and I lost it. I never thought I'd get to hear that song with that lineup, and it didn't have near the impact hearing it during the Enema tour with Matt a few years back. Adam's Song is straight up one of the reasons I made it through my teenage years. I owe a LOT to it. Thankful Mark is still here to sing it and that it took on such a personal new meaning after his health struggles.

Me too. I’m a 27 year cancer survivor too and hearing Dammit upon its release was integral to my healing and rediscovering myself those first few years post treatment. Blink has been everything to me since. Hearing Mark last night, knowing exactly what he’s been through, knowing what the band means to many of us, leading into maybe the best performance of that song I’ve ever heard I was a puddle.
