wait what was the Tim Armstrong stuff??

 

He was a cook in the kitchen at the earliest Skilba demo sessions. There’s Blink / Tim Armstrong songs floating in the ether. Also for anyone who hasn’t checked out the new Rancid album. It has been scratching the new Punk Rock itch. It dropped the day we were speculating a new single from Blink and it has been tiding me over just fine.

 

Side note: I still love Travis' work with the Transplants and "Cat Like Thief" on BCR. Armstrong crushes on that material.

Cat Like Thief is my favorite BCR song. Tim and Tom trading vocals is so sick. Transplants gets pretty steady love when on my run playlists.

 

Don’t forget Jordan Pundik on Cat Like Thief, as subtle as it is

 

Can’t imagine I am going to be psyched to hear what Landon Barker’s debut stuff is going to sound like, but I have to say When you heart stops beating is such a sick choice for a cover that is different enough from blink but fits right into the show as an opener.

 

Just ordered a copy of ‘the plague’ from himynameismark. Anyone able to tell me what it’s actually about? Haha

I heard that Mark made a joke at one of the San Diego shows about Tom quitting again and it was tense on stage. This shit scares me haha.

 

The clip was all over social media and didn't seem tense at all.

 

Just saw it, standard funny banter, no dramas. I'm just overthinking.

 

I saw them at the 2nd San Diego show and Tom was having a blast. Mark’s mom was there, and at one point the spotlight went on her and Mark said something like “go on Tom, tell her all of the things you’ve been saying about her on tour to her face” lmao

 

Can’t believe everything you hear online. I remember reading someone say that Tom looked uncomfortable playing the cali songs, and when I saw them tom was having a blast and jamming hard to them

 

Yeah, a lot of crappy heresay when it comes to this band. I buy into it sometimes, should probably just ignore it.

 

Thanks for posting this! They seemed to sell out on the artists' websites so fast post-show that it was exciting to see this one was still available (and not for at least $100 more on eBay)!

 

This San Diego show… wow… it’s un-fucking-believably good. It’s amazing.

I literally could not believe they sounded THAT amazing. I even shed a tear in awe.

There’s something about this band… I stopped caring about almost every band I listened in high school but they are an exclusion. Thank G-d they reunited and still having so much fun

 

What do these guys do with all the free shit they get at every show. It's so much stuff I wonder if they just throw it all away lol.

 

Storage space somewhere, I bet. A massive stash of Blink-related paraphernalia

 

Mark seems very sentimental and always shows off collectibles so I bet he keeps everything

 

I always wonder this too. But yeah, probably just thrown in a big storage yard somewhere, forgotten about.
I hope not, but they probably have thousands of items from shows over the years.
