The second they announce another song you will be working like you just took a whole bottle of HIMs

Speaking from experience?

 

I was going through some stuff in my closet and I found some old framed stuff I had in there that I never got around to replacing the frames for (they had aged and broken for various reasons). I came across this gem poster in one, and my ticket stub from the first time I saw blink

 

This was the VIP poster, right? What did VIP include back then? It'd be interesting to compare VIP now vs then, both in price and experience.

 

Iirc it just gave you early entry to the venue, the poster, a professional picture (not with the band), and that’s all.

 

I have my first blink poster as well. Should really get it rehung in my office.

 

Has there ever been an VIP experience where you've gotten to meet the band? I remember the EOTS 20th anniversary shows where you got a photo with the band, but actually MEETING and talking with them is super different (like getting things signed).

I'm super fortunate to have met them individually and gotten things signed.

 

There was one for California. I got to hang out with mark, Travis and Matt in their green room for 15-20 minutes with only like 8 other people. Got pics with them and got my California cd signed. We all sat on a circle sectional couch and chatted for most of the time with them it was cool

 

Did you ask them if they’re releasing an album in 2023? And if so, which date?

 

Yes back in 2016 they told me Tom would come back in 2022, we’d be edging most of 2023 until October

 

If I had known what blink tickets would cost in 2023 I'd do the VIP in 2016 in a heartbeat

 

The vip I went to was $1000 for two people (it was a gift no way I afforded that)

He means last day of recording using those guitars, basses and that drum-kit.

They're starting from scratch after the tour with all new instruments to see how the demos sound.
