Everything should be printed on comfort colors

 

Once American Apparel got bought or sold or whatever happened the quality went down imo. New favorite is def. Comfort Colors for the boxier feel and Bella Canvas for the soft tri-blend-ish feel.

 

I love Comfort Colors, but when you're 6'4, the boxy fit doesn't work as well. haha.

 

Gilden has sucked since the beginning of time. Those shirts can stand vertically on their own.

 

Im still rockin my old Macbeths.

 

The Untitled cover shirt I bought at Target a while back is better quality than all of the Gildan Blink merch I own. Frustrating. Even more so when I see much smaller artists putting out more comfortable merch on their tours.

 

Yeah, just shy of 6'4" myself. Not into boxiness.

I was a huge Macbeth fan and had plenty of shirts and shoes, I regret never grabbing anything Atticus.

 

I don't believe I have a single Atticus shirt left, but I still have the same beanie Tom wore in the Urethra Chronicles II doc and did keep a few of my pairs of Macbeth shoes. Some fell apart and I had no choice but to get rid of them.

 

Re: Merch prints. I worked for a nonprofit for a while that sold clothes at events. I am extremely picky about blanks. I will pass on merch often if the blank sucks. I prefer vinyl these days as a show keepsake typically. Indie and hardcore bands tend to do best with their blank selection lol.

 

I am pretty sure I have a couple pairs of unopened and unworn Macbeths in my closet. I should go see what those are.

 

If you have a pair of fresh Bonham's I'd lose it. I have been on the hunt for a while and its slim pickin's online.

Any recs for someone who loved the 50/50 American apparel tees but absolutely hates what gildan has done to them?

 

Cost to fit ratio, I’d look at Next Level and Bella Canvas. Both are the best of AA replacements. I think they’re both the 3000 ones that are basically old AA clone like shirts.
