Hello lurking blink redditors, how is being mean and sad on the internet going

Speaking of Reddit, I just saw some screenshots of comments from the guy that allegedly did the graffiti graphics that were used in some of the video board stuff. He said he originally made a lot more than we’re used and they were intended for Bored to Death on the world tour.

Obviously to be taken with a large grain of salt. But it gives me hope.

 

Also, I’m going to the show in Chicago on the 6th and trying to decide if I want to avoid all conversations about the St Paul show and go in blind.

 

That close to the start of the tour? Yeah, do it.

 

I get the very last show of this tour in March of 2024. I wonder how tired/cooked/over it they'll be, or if they'll bring it.

 

They’ll have had Skiba come back, leave, and Tom back by the time March 2024 rolls around. So they’ll be refreshed by then.

All this Blink talk made me dig this out so I could finally frame it. From the Pop Disaster Tour 4/20/2002, Mark was hanging out at the Atticus tent before the show I got him to sign this and gave him a Sugarcult sticker because remember when bands had street teams haha.

 

Being called a turd is one of the best compliments ever, imo. It’s like when a person tries to say something bad about someone (who they don’t even know) but they can’t justify it, so they decide to call that person a turd instead.

I love it. I wish I’d get called a turd more.

coming back to this thread/band after a good few years. landed on page 200-something, where people back in september were betting money that they would play Skiba-era songs.

that was really funny. i know it's easy to say it after the fact but to me it was always pretty obvious that they're never touching any of that again.

i watched both coachella livestreams and they sounded a solid 5/10. the banter was much better than i expected though, especially mark and tom playfully caressing each other before going on for the first show. 2015 me would never believe it.

i don't think there's much hope for a new album turning out any good, if it happens. i'm just glad they're back for now.

 

I still think they’ll play stuff from that era and the new album will be good and is 100% happening.

 

Seriously though, your post is full of poor/weird takes. Your entitled to your opinions, but they're wildly misinformed.

 

i wouldn't doubt it. sorry that it's a bunch of boo takes. just felt like saying something now that the band got me excited again for the first time in years.

 

Unless you think a peak blink performance is a maximum 5 out of 10, no way that was a failing grade performance lol. Ridiculous take
