I wouldn’t be surprised if they played 1-2 from it. But I also won’t be surprised if they don’t. The vibe is very much nostalgic jams from early 2000’s. The amount of people nostalgic for Neighborhoods is a pretty small minority, although I don’t know how one could actually measure that.

up all night and GOTDF were on Mark's playlist for Coachella, so wouldn't be surprised with those. Would rather have others like Even if She Falls though...

California & NINE both sound very safe to me. They are really fun, well-written songs, but they're super tightly produced to be a radio-friendly simulacrum of blink's heydey.

Neighborhoods, for all of its flaws, sounds to me like a authentic representation of where the band was at that point in time. It's weird, raw and dark, and as disjointed as it sounds at times, I can't imagine anyone else making those songs.

I like all three albums, but they are so different in tone and mission I can't say one is better than the others.

Dude I like you but this is just really REALLY bad take.

NINE is the most boring blink album.

if something should be counted as Untitled progression it’s definitely mix of We Dont Need To Whisper and When Your Heart Stops Beating songs. Not all of them. But you can easily pick up songs and make killer Untitled follow up.

    NINE is just bad.

I like Neighborhoods now more than I did when it came out, but I still don't love it.

I enjoyed both California and Nine a lot when they came out, but I don't revisit them often. I find now that Tom is back, I'm even less interested in going back. I'd kind of resigned myself to that being Blink, but now that it's not, I'm just not really all that interested.

  10. NINE reminds me a lot of WYHSB-era Mark songs. Great album.

We are gonna have to agree to disagree here. Respectfully. I find nine FAR from boring. It’s a very well done album, and with the dark undertones over the bright music, it’s classic blink in a modern sound. But you are free to feel as you do

My brain can't really compare Neighborhoods with California and Nine in a "better than" kind of way. Neighborhoods is an intentionally different album in almost every way, so it doesn't make sense to compare.

It's like taking a director like Steven Spielberg and saying The Last Crusade is less than Schindler's List. They're both good movies, but going for completely different things.

Now, I think it makes more sense to compare Untitled and Neighborhoods and, well, Neighborhoods doesn't fare too well there.

Guys, don't act like Remember To Forget Me isn't one of the best Blink songs of all-time.

I haven't listened to Neighborhoods since, like, 2011 maybe. Just gave it a listen.

Still do not care for it.

Heart's All Gone and Kaleidoscope could probably be on California / Nine. They are also, coincidentally, my two favorite songs on this thing.

This doesn't really make sense to me considering there was, by all accounts, very little in the way of collaboration on that record. Disjointed is right. It may be an authentic representation of where Mark and Tom were as individual songwriters at that time, but definitely not as a band. Certainly not as any sort of cohesive unit.

I am experiencing a lot of blink hype atm. I don't listen to live sets that often but the Coachella rip Jason posted got me super hyped up, doing full album listens while I clean up and get some writing done.

Enema is such a kick to the face, so infectious. I love it. Interested to check out TOYPAJ next because I rarely have ever done a discog run for blink

Pin The Grenade is the only skiba era song i will acknowledge. And thats just because of the chorus. The verses are meh.

Uh oh, there's reports popping up now that Skrillex is the replacement headliner for Sunday, not Blink.

EDIT: Actually these reports are coming from random twitter posts. I'm gonna trust the Variety article yesterday confirming Blink lol
