Aaron is Tom's engineer. Don't think I've seen anything about Ilan being involved.

Ah yeah that's right. Well either way I'm hopeful it'll be a blink album I love. Wherever it's ranked

  3. Bet the new album sounds more like "modern pop-punk" than Nine did. Travis ain't gonna abandon his now signature sound.

Looking back at the past releases stemming from post Tom departure 2.0, I am very excited to know that I will thoroughly enjoy SOMETHING on this upcoming release. Looking at Nine, Cali, Lifeforms, each have some great moments and some spectacular stand-out tracks.

So knowing that I will most definitely enjoy something in the new stuff, I am very excited. With other bands I worry about whether or not an album will click with me, but with blink I know I'm bound dig it and I relish in that sense of security. Edging was a great start and I feel like they're going to push the limits beyond that.

  9. Neighborhoods just sounds so bad. It's not pleasing to listen to.

I feel like I’m the only one on here that really doesn’t mind, and actually mostly enjoys, his sound. I don’t think he’s produced any essential pop punk albums yet (to say nothing of the type of people he likes to work with..), but I can pretty easily imagine his production + Blink music being very, VERY good.

Blink should play a surprise warm up show in San Diego before Coachella this weekend simply because I am here until Sunday

It's a major bummer. I want something that's a natural progression from self titled.

It's been 20 years guy.. it's time to move on.

  17. I'm drawn to it. It's a very punchy and clean pop-punk sound. I love what he did with KennyHoopla. The "Feeling This" interpolation on that JXDN album sounds good (to me), the song is take it or leave it, but the way it sounds I have no complaints with.

A "natural progression" from a record released 20 years ago is an oxymoron. haha. They've released, what, a collective 11 albums and countless EPs since then? Anything resembling the untitled would probably be UNnatural at this point, but who knows.

Personally, I don't even care to have opinions or expectations for the style of the next record. They just need to write enjoyable songs in whatever style they feel like - that's really what matters.

People who love Neighborhoods need to take the L and let it go. My favorite thing about the album is that Mark was asked to rank their albums and he didn’t even bother to include it until prompted to do so.

Neighborhoods is good but i would imagine it was a bad time for everyone to make. It's literally the email album.

I’m a big AVA fan so I love some of the electronics and guitar tones. But I only like it sparingly in Blink. And again, that’s why I love Neoghborhoods!

Neighborhoods is all over the place but it has moments I like. I can see why people don't like it.
