Possibly. But can you prove that?

I had a blue version of this shirt with orange stripes. Wore it to death. Got it at the merch booth on tour.

Can’t prove it with 100% certainty but there are clues it’s most likely fake. Blink has never been a band to change their set outside of possibly switching a song or two out mid tour. This set is completely different from what they had been playing all TOYPAJ tour. They didn’t open with Anthem Part 2 until 2002. Never played The Party Song or Online Songs before that concert and played both of them back to back? Plus the other song placements aren’t even remotely similar to their 2001 sets. Nothing about this set makes sense.

Can we also remember/talk about the fact that we are getting a reworked BCR song on the new album? Which may or may not be Dance With Me?

    STOKED!!

  7. Knowing them, they won’t include that song on the album haha. Jk jk jk. But yessss I’m so intrigued to hear what that one sounds like a million years later and with Mark’s input as well.

I’m convinced they’ve recorded like 40 songs so I wouldn’t count on anything except edging lol

I fear I waited too long... does anyone have access to a download of the video? Asking for a friend...
Referring to the Coachella show, of course.

The link @Jason Tate posted on Archive.org is no longer available.

My memory could be hazy but I could have sworn they played it.

SIDENOTE but I opted to go to this date instead of the Jones Beach one in NY since they essentially took the current tour that Blink was on and made it into a radio station festival. Full lineup at the time (going from headliner to earliest act as I can remember): Blink-182, New Found Glory, Sum 41, Saliva, Dave Navarro, Jimmy Eat World, Stroke 9, Cold, Boyhitscar, Good Charlotte, The Calling and then a few others. Alien Ant Farm was also supposed to play but cancelled last minute.

Funnily enough, minus Saliva, that still seems like as good of a time in 2023 as it was in 2001.

Also, I saw Blink AGAIN in May because the same radio station AGAIN just leveraged the Blink/Green Day tour to book their festival around as detailed by the program someone thankfully uploaded:

How could you forget Crazytown too, haha. Yup it was a great festival and got me into NFG, GC and Stroke 9.

The next year they read the same Festival with the Pop Disaster Tour and had blink, Green Day, GC, Unwritten Law, Sugarcult, Mest, and The Used. Too bad Saves The Day was there instead of Jimmy Eat World though.

I can't believe I know this but Crazy Town actually played the Radio 104 fest the year BEFORE in 2000 where Creed headlined (who I honestly enjoyed live and it was my only time seeing them).

Jimmy Eat World I believe played the West Coast dates of the Pop Disaster tour.

I just remember Crazy Town for the Butterfly song and knew nothing else from them.

Seeing Creed in 2000 is something someone in 2023 wouldn’t understand but I would have liked to see them live at that time too.

Also holy shit seeing Sugarcult, UL, GC, Saves The Day (never was a fan but I know a lot of people were), Green Day and blink in a row in 2002 is a hell of a line up.

I just saw a video of the crazy town dude playing at a guitar center or something and he looked terrible. Feel bad for the dude.

My friends met Travis that day, they were hanging by the buses and he came out and walked over to them because they were the only ones there and signed their shirts. Unfortunately I was on the other side of the venue with no cell phone service. Damn you Nokia cell phones!

The year before my same friends got their GC cds signed by the band. No clue where I was for that.

I need to find better friends.

Also another band that I feel like was a missed opportunity to have open for Blink on this tour is the Dirty Nil. They’re like a garage-y pop punk tinged band that’s fucking rad that is good friends with White Reaper.

Or even Drug Church or Prince Daddy & the Hyena.

Just not Beauty School Dropout lol.
