Serious question,

What is the likelihood of a new song and/or album announce before the tour?

I genuinely don't think we'll get anything for a few months/tour break between countries. I'm getting more and more okay with that, haha. There'll be enough YouTube footage, etc. that I'll be hyped.

 

50/50 chance. Ha. But really, I expect one more new song by the time tour starts, IF they are planning to play more than just “Edging.”

 

Zero chance they don’t start promoting the album before a world tour starts.

 

I'd have agreed with that a month ago or so, but the tour starts in a little over a month and the record isn't even finished yet, so I wouldn't rule anything out at this point. Nothing is off the table.

I would find it hard to believe Turnstile would go on right at 7:30...unless they themselves are getting a full hour or something.

Personally I don't care if a third act is added, however if Blink goes on before 9, I am fucked because I'm going to be cutting it close to get down there in time.

 

My expectations have been tempered, not too concerned about an announcement or single as long as the eventual release crushes. Also, I would much prefer having one comeback song out that had a very strong life on radio than 4-7 songs out before the record drops.

I will be out of town when Blink comes through Colorado. Pretty bummed to miss them with Turnstile, but I would much prefer seeing them post-release with 2-5 songs in the set. They went pretty hard on New songs when California was out. Hoping they do the same on this one.

 

It's out of their control but they do have contractual obligations
