For anyone curious:
Surgery went well and I was able to come home tonight instead of staying for a night like they originally planned. They had to remove a golf ball sized benign tumor from my left temple. Glad it’s finally outta there.

Hopefully this tumor wasn’t the portion of myself that loves pineapple on pizza and FOAM. Ha

Runaway keeps inching its way up my Skiba-era dark horse favorites. The 808 intros, the absurd popsicle lyric, the huge Skiba chorus, the odd but satisfying layered harmonies, It's peak stuff.

In my perfect world, NINE is just the Feldman songs, and the Pagnotta stuff is an EP with another song or two going just as deep or deeper into the modern pop lane. (Basically, every time I mention NINE here I want to unequivocally love it, but when I go back those songs are a drag to me in the front-to-back playthrough)

Would love to see Mark crushing PTG live at least once.

They totally are. I think in a world where they didn't craft the (genius) "3 versions" release, all would be main album tracks

 

Someone should ask Mark on Discord why those songs aren’t on Apple Music. So annoying.

If you could put any number of the 3 bonus tracks on TOYPAJ, but to do so you had to cut a proper album song for each, how many would you put on and which songs would you cut for them?

Cutting STFK is probably a hot take, but I’ve never liked that song as much as most people I don’t think

 

All three bonus tracks replace Shut Up, Give Me One Good Reason, and Story Of A Lonely Guy. Easiest cuts ever

 

Happy Holidays and One Good Reason definitely get cut for Time to Break Up and Don’t Tell Me It’s Over.

 

I really can’t think of a logical reason why they’re not available for streaming. Repackage it as a deluxe or something and call it a day.

 

A lot of bonus tracks from albums that released long before streaming services existed aren’t available. It’s most likely just a case of artists/labels not really caring enough and not seeing enough upside to go out of their way to put them on there lol

 

I would understand that for random b sides or songs that appeared on a split or a 7”, like particularly I’m not surprised that Uranus isn’t on Spotify. But those TOYPAJ bonus songs were popular and they’re from the same damn album. Put ‘em up!

 

Unless there’s more to it, how hard is it to upload some files and type up some meta data?
