Re Pizza Chat. I got one of those fancy backyard pizza ovens through a work partnership and my endless pursuit is mastering the Neapolitan Margarita. Closest brush with glory.

 

I've known and talked to Aaron for years. Dude deserves no slander for answering a few questions from fans harassing/asking him questions him non-stop.

 

HA that's great. I love the chemistry between them (musically and personally), Illan really reignited Tom's creativity.
Illan told a story once of him and Tom going to see Paul McCartney live, and Illan was watching thinking it was the greatest concert of his life and Tom turns to him and goes "so when is he gonna start playing some hits?"

 

Aaron probably just underestimates how rabid the fanbase can be and how much they'll spiral with any piece of (perceived) information. Things change in an instant with this band and nothing is really ever set in stone until it has to be, so he's just answering things the best he can with the given information. He's probably not realizing that people are using him as an authority on all things blink.

 

I don't think Travis realized AI could de-motion blur that tracklist pic lol.

Photos are cool and all but it's been over 5 months since we had any official announcements.

 

I'm wondering now if those songs that were separated at the bottom is stuff they are still recording.

I know we've seen potential tracklists, but what's everyone's guess for how many tracks on the standard album? I'm going with 10. Short and concise. Then maybe deluxe release next year.

 

When I'm eating I go for what's delicious, not what's cultural, but that's just me.

 

Honestly not a fan of the 10-track album trend. 12 at least, please.

 

Considering Chicago deep dish is the most underrated pizza style, I agree whole-heartedly with this ranking.

 

I'd rather a 12 track album too, but I just think they're going for the more is less approach on this one.

They tend to always hit at least 13ish

 

I feel like most of the time with 10 track albums bands don't give themselves a lot of wiggle room to put out something with both enough familiarity to hang your hat on and enough experimentation to give you something different. Having more tracks leaves more room for a more colorful album, IMO.

This isn't hard and fast logic, of course, but it's my general feeling.

 

If they're STILL recording I'd be shocked if it's less than 12 songs

 

Kinda curious how they planned on finishing the album as they would've been on tour right now. During the April break? Would it have resorted to trying to finish it before shows in the green room? Or even until the next break in the tour/after the whole tour?

Just gonna get hype for my tour date and stop looking forward to the new stuff till they drop it lol cause who knows at this point.

 

Doesn't matter cause it's not getting finished.
