I wonder if we'll hear any of this demo from The Dream Walker on this new record. We all know Tom likes to recycle or hold onto ideas and rifs for awhile. It could be pretty cool.

 

There’s a picture of a set list of songs they’re recording and you can see “ON THE” cut off at the top. None of their other songs have on the in it, so people are just assuming.

I suppose it could be a new song title, but I doubt it

 

That would be really cool. The verses are especially interesting.

Thinking out loud here..about a month away from the start of the first leg of the tour where they are hitting spots they’ve either never hit or haven’t hit in 20ish years. Figure that setlist will be straightforward greatest hits.

They do have a month off between the last date on the first leg and the first US date in May. Unlikely, but maybe some setlist changes will be made during that month off? (Drop First Date or Tom quits)

 

probably a 2nd single drops right before the March shows, and then they end up playing 4-5 new ones (including the first 2 singles) during the rest of the tour

 

Hopefully Tom is over his "I'm an arteeeest" phase and he can play "First Date" straight because he understands that the fans have a connection with it, even if he doesn't anymore.

And hopefully he learned the words to "Dumpweed."

 

Dang, I just hope either of their voices don't get shot by the time my date comes around. That's an intense touring schedule for a band 30 years into existence.

 

Hopefully he actually puts forth effort into performing it correctly since this will be the first time the vast majority of these people will have been able to catch these songs live. But on the other hand, I'm sure he could just let the crowd sing it for him and call it good.

 

It's amazing seeing the First Date concerns across all blink discussion platforms like "Oh no, First Date is on the setlist. Tom confirmed out by mid-tour."

 

So happy that we still have Mark around. And Tom can sing his songs any goddamn way he wants and YOU WILL LIKE IT!

 

The words to Dumpweed aren't the problem, it's the spaces between them in the chorus he forgets lol

TOYPAJ rules, it’s just not quite as good as Enema for me

 

Untitled, enema, toypaj are the holy trinity.

 

Untitled, Dude Ranch and TOYPAJ are probably my favorite blink albums. Just not that into Enema anymore

 

It’s a tie with Untitled for me…but before Untitled…TOYPAJ was untouchable

 

Enema hasn't aged well for me but it's still a great album
