I've been happy to wait for another single, but the time seems right to drop another one. I am glad to have plenty of teasing and a long rollout, but some news that is more than insta stories from the band would be rad. I think Aaron Rubin said the album is due at the end of January. Seems likely they have all the songs and potential singles pretty well locked in.

My hope would be a more experimental and progressive song next, but I have trust that whatever they drop next will crush.

 

What is up with the bump in plays for This is Why? Was it on a commercial or something?

 

Been climbing the charts for weeks now. Finally broke to the top.

 

It is definitely a bop! Psyched for that album. Still mourning the loss of the irresponsible speculation that Paramore would be on the bill with Blink and Turnstile after the singer did the video for This is Why.

 

Mark was recording some vocals yesterday so I'm not sure it's 100% done just yet. Unless it was for a feature on a different effort.

 

They were doing tour rehearsals yesterday. That's what that mic was.

I’m not expecting another single until the new album is announced

 

As much as a new single I am in desperate need of some in-depth interviews, podcasts, press, and BTS videos. Very excited to hear each member talk about this era and the process of making this record.

Definitely ready for another single now that we are this close to the album being wrapped up. I realize the album hasn’t been finished and “Edging” was doing great on the charts, but I still thought we’d get another song sooner than four months later.

 

I wouldn't expect another single until the album announcement.

 

Yeah that’s definitely the most logical route at this point. No reason to delay a new single this long only to preempt the album announcement that’s sure to come really soon anyway.

 

Don’t worry guys, in a few months we’ll all be crying about how they put out too many singles ahead of time

 

Would you prefer getting all the info on one day?
Or strung out like Neighboorhoods/Cali, i.e. getting different pieces of the album art to puzzle together, or some names being teased and whatnot.

I think the viral marketing of posters in NYC were really cool, so I'd hope for something creative rather than a regular announcement. Although at this point I really can't complain about anything.

I'll never do that. I have self control and won't burn myself out on anything that gets released ahead of time lol.
