Zero issues with the prompter. Gonna have to take down a lot of people, including Gerard Way and Patrick Stump, if we're going after scene singers who use them.

Guessing the prompter is for anything Neighborhoods onwards for Tom. No problem with it, especially if they've got a couple of Skiba songs in there.

Skiba used a prompter when I saw Alkaline Trio a few months ago.

I couldn’t care less if a band uses a prompter for lyrics. Better than them saying “uhhh oops I forgot the words” in the middle of a song. Which Tom has done many times.

 

I legit don’t care if any singer uses a teleprompter haha

 

Tom would probably fail if you quizzed him on random verse lyrics from AvA off the top of his head

 

"Thanks and goodnight San Diego! We're blink-182?"

 

I’ve seen Scott Russo doing it during the Unwritten Law’s Seein Red and he just stopped the song completely,smiled ,,ooopss.Sorry.” and started again.for some reason it just made the show better for me haha

 

Mark needs the teleprompter for the reminder to say “wore cologne” instead of “walk alone”

 

You guys reckon for I Miss You, Tom has his lyrics changed on the teleprompter? So like Yoice instead of Voice, Yead instead of Head etc.

He’s definitely sputtered a drunken “yoice” before. Saw it live too. Hopefully his sinus surgery helps with that. Saw AVA live on the most recent tour and it was a great improvement.

 

I know everyone is excited to see Tom back recording and performing with the band, and I really am too, so much.

But I also don't want to gloss over how amazing it is to see Mark healthy and happy and able to continue his passion, makes me very happy to see

 

Honestly, that’s what I’m most excited about when I get to see them next October. I can’t wait to see Mark performing, happy and healthy. Having Tom back will just be a fun little cherry on top.

 

I think that's part of the reason why I love EDGING over anything released Skiba era. It's a fun song, and by no means near the top of the Blink ladder, but I think it's the chemistry these 3 dudes (especially Mark and Tom) exude when they're in a good headspace about each other that gives it a special element.
