At one point, I’d have put Davey Havok right up there. Not so much anymore

I think it’s time for a Blink 182/ Limp Bizkit tour

1000% in for this. LB is one of the most fun live shows I’ve seen.

  5. I’ve been listening to Dude Ranch regularly since 1999 and I JUST NOWWWW discovered that there’s a burp at around the 13 second mark of “Enthused.”

Great way to pigeonhole a fan of the punk/pop-punk genre.

I'd also dare say that FOB aren't a pillar of the sound by any means. Maybe in the sense that they may be a pillar for bands like Panic!, All Time Low and Cobra Starship.

Pillars of a genre are subjective, and can be interchangeable. I'd say in Blink's case their pillars are Descendents, 90's So-Cal (Pennywise/NOFX) and The Cure.

I'm also aware I'm referring to pillars more in the sense of influence here, but I still think it applies.

The more pillars, the stronger the building

  8. I can’t think of a band in the last 20 years that redefined the pop-punk sound and shaped the genre more than FOB. Hard not to say they’ve become a pillar imo.

Listening to songs on shuffle and Parking Lot came on. Got the itch and dived into the deluxe edition of California; it still blows my mind how much better these deluxe songs are compared to the OG album.
