I'm confused about what's happening. People are responding with laughter so I assume the divorce attorney part isn't serious, so is the joke something to do with the lyrics?

Yes, I think I know the song, a piece of the puzzle that in no way tells me why he "might need a divorce attorney" and why Chewie says "Mom and Dad are getting divorced".

 

His wife asked him where he was and he jokingly responded with his song lyrics instead of answering her, prompting a “my wife is sick of my silly antics, she probably wants a divorce”
