Absolutely haha…I didn’t mind FOAM but didn’t really get back to it since it was released

 

My top songs from Spotify were "EDGING" and then four Turnstile songs... I should probably buy a ticket to that tour....

Also something to note if anyone has Edging as their top song - apparently Spotify Wrapped only includes stats up through October 31st and that song dropped on October 14th.

 

Ha! Nothing off of FOAM showed up on my top songs this year.

My top 5 artists this year were Blink, Taylor Swift, The Sound, The Opposition, and (somehow) Everclear.

 

Edging came out the week before this huge licensing exam for my Master's program and job. I had it on repeat while I studied in the final stretch. 182 plays. Its destiny.

 

haha! i was actually surprised to see not even a single FOAM song in my 2022 Wrapped playlist! even Spotify hates that album....

 

"Darkside" was my most played song of the year.

 

I think I've only played Edging a total of 3 times. Really not trying to burn this one out haha.

 

I admittedly haven't gone back since the week it came out, but I replayed Up All Night and Bored To Death an outrageous amount when they came out too and those songs just remind me of whatever season I was in at the time. Can't do it with any artist, but blink gets the pass for some reason. IMO Edging went from, "yeah this is a good simple classic pop punk" to "Oh my God this song RIPS" with repeat listens.

Seeing the Edging single art always makes me want a twist soft serve cone. Damn you, Tom!

 

Same here. I've mostly put it away since those first couple of weeks but the few times it's popped up I've still loved it so much. I honestly expected the novelty/hype to wear off, but it's actually managed to hold its value for me.

I feel like I loved "Bored to Death" when it came out but I overplayed it. "Up All Night" was underwhelming to me but slowly grew on me after a while... Neither has been the case with this song.

 

for some reason, the single artwork feels like a Pepsi ad. not sure why it makes my brain think that.

No surprise Blink was my #1 artist on Spotify wrapped. But surprisingly Edging didn’t crack my top 5 songs.

 

Ughhhh. I gotta be honest. I think I'm so anxious for new blink music because i really didn't vibe with Edging. I mean, idk. I just don't get it or something. Lol

Speaking of not getting things, I was listening to Neighborhoods again tonight and was wondering if there was any commentary on the song lyrics. It's an album with lots of lyrics and i just don't always understand what Tom is saying/meaning. The earlier music was easier to comprehend. I will say though that i think my fave song on this album changed tonight to Love is Dangerous...still love Up All Night though.

 

Anyone receiving multiple replacement t-shirts, I will buy one off of you if it’s a size large.
