IT had to be when Dammit came out (was that 97?) - WFNX Lynn Boston was the college/indie/new wave station of choice in Mass (IMO) or 95.5 WBRU in RI.....

College music rocked the airwaves, and my friends and I constantly talked about the DJs (and the bands)

93-97 were prime times for music for me.

 

There's a promo pic on r/blink 182 that has Tom in it. I don't know if it's photoshopped but it looks legit :)

It looks like it would fit the Hard At Work theme.

 

Ticket factory has this image up too! Seems legit.

 

When blink came back in 09 the site crashed.

If real, both promos looks so much more fun/less awkward than 2009-2015.

 

OMG it's finally sinking it that it's happening.

I never would've predicted Tom re-joining after the shit that went down in 2015.

 

I'm just going to say it, Tom looks like he actually want's to be there this time.

I think it's safe to assume Matt is out based on the promos.

 

I just want to say thanks to Matt and give him a massive hug.

He'll forever be a part of blink and he helped kept the band alive, when he had absolutely no reason to.

 

I hope Tom is stuffing his face in every promo picture

I read an old article with Matt where he was so humble and just spoke about how he fully expected Toms return and he’d happily hand over the reins when that time came. He also added that he hoped it wasn’t too soon as he was having so much fun. Think that was Cali era, hope he’s happy/proud of his run. I loved him in blink. However “OG” blink and possibly more Alkaline Trio is music to my ears.

 

No way we get music yet, I think we’re all being too optimistic right?

 

I have literal butterflies in my stomach. It's like seeing the girl you kissed for the first time back in school after many many years.

To be fair, joining one of the biggest alternative bands in the world, is probably quite an incentive if you're Matt. A3 were obviously never "Blink" big.

I'm sure he knew the deal going into it, so would be surprised if there was any bad blood!
