Dude Ranch is 2nd for me in rankings after Untitled, so I'm in the same boat here.

This isn't an invite to start rankings btw everyone. Please don't.

Lol not my intention. I'm talking purely in terms of production the divide for me is Finn vs non-Finn.

I hear what people are saying about OMT but I don't think it exceeds Finn's work purely in terms of production value. Those fucking compressed drums drive me mad.

Donnie was that you screaming after every word Mark said, yelled “so hot!” in response to the photo of them at the naval base, and then after having said, “I’m going to cry so much” before the event even began, did you immediately start crying as soon the slide said “CANCER” and everything fell out of your lap and onto the floor?

In all seriousness, I had a much better time than I expected. Seeing Mark in that atmosphere honestly felt a bit surreal, and I loved all the photos and videos. I also really liked seeing the text between Mark and Tom that they talked about in the Zane Lowe interview.

    Curious about the text.

If there's one thing post 2022 reunion and in Mark's book that I don't think is elaborated on/detailed enough, (not that they owe us anything) is the actual finer details on them getting back together. Initial convos to more thorough convos, what if someone has a commitment, breaks, what is different this time, etc. I'd love to know more about how that all played out.

Yeah, that was breezed over in the discussion - it more or less boiled down to “I got sick, Tom was right there with me the whole time, the three of us eventually discussed getting back together with the understanding that this time it was for real and that we were going all in on Blink.”

The text was just the one Tom (or maybe it was Mark) brought up in the Zane Lowe interview: Tom randomly sent a photo of himself in front of a bunch of half-dressed models and said he was making art and Mark responded letting him know that he had just been diagnosed with lymphoma.

One last thing about the event: I’ve never seen someone more befitting of the name Dan Ozzi.

(Only spoilering that since it’s billed as a special guest)

Hahaha that’s not even who I was referring to but I know exactly who you’re talking about. “FUCK YEAH!” and “SO COOL!” literally every two minutes.

I’m so happy you made it!

I wish it had been a Friday night. I love Somerville and was so tempted to go to Saloon or somewhere but I needed to get home and go to sleep. Which is what I’m doing now, definitely sleeping and not posting on chorus.fm.

The guy that kept yelling "Fuck yeah" was so annoying! He really did it almost anytime Mark took a pause for like 2 seconds. Mark would say 'And then we went on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.' (pause)......'FUCK YEAH!'

  24. lol I was also at the book tour last night in Somerville and "fuck yeah" guy was indeed extremely annoying, but otherwise the show was great, so glad I went. also just managed to score pit tickets to the show up in Gilford!
