  4. There’s a few little blurbs online here and there that hints at a few things, including this: Jerry Finn - Gearspace

It is finished. Damn I really loved that. My only gripe is the same thing everyone has said, I wish it was 3 times as long. It could have easily been 3 volumes, the early days, the glory days from enema to Untitled, and the first hiatus to now.

The first half was perfectly paced and everything after TOYPAJ feels condensed. It was a killer read and I blew through the second half in one sitting. I’ll save any big thoughts for a couple weeks while people make their way through it.

One thing I was left with is “holy shit I kind of forgot there’s a partially complete collection of +44 songs from LP2 on a hard drive somewhere” It would be dope if they put a track on a future blink release the way they did with Terrified.

Finished. Adored it. Yeah also wish it was way longer but that’s a good problem to have

"It was the band’s third chart-topping album, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 the week after its release. It was a triumph that the band hadn’t achieved since 2001 with “Take Off Your Pants and Jacket” and 1999’s “Enema of the State.”

I got all excited and then found out if you're in a family plan, only the plan's organizer gets that perk (which I am not).

If I hadn’t found the book early I for sure would have done the audiobook. I will probably revisit it at some point. I am sure it rules.

I wonder why they’re both playing the same day of 4 Chord.

Strange locations, must be built around fests and B markets or something. Very rad that it is happening though. Hopefully they bring Skiba out every night and for BTD and they throw in a couple songs here and there. Cynical is less than 2 minutes and its top tier Skiba era. Pipe dream remains Atom ripping The Adventure with Tom. Also Tom said they have been kicking around Elevator. Would be nice to see some variety in the setlist on this run.

No denver date for the book tour and no Colorado date for this run. Blink is snubbing me smh.

Finished and liked it but I felt it was missing more details surrounding the albums. Specially TOYOAJ which is supposed to be a record where Tom and Mark had different visions around it but that is not present. The Skiba stuff was also very brief.

it’s a very pg version of this story that seems very sanitized but it has some cool nuggets in it and I enjoyed it

  21. My wife grew up in NH, so I'm hoping she gets excited enough about that for her to agree that we need to fly out for that show haha.

Really happy to see those Missouri dates. It was a real bummer having to sit out while they toured what seemed like the rest of the world lol.

Yeah, wish there was something closer to CT but will do one of the NY dates hopefully - anyone know which venue in NY is "better"?

Just finished the book cover to cover in one sitting.

Loved it. Some obviously very tragic and vulnerable stuff in there, and it's clear how mad and frustrated he was with the whole first blink reunion, and the years afterwards. Really didn't know Mark's anxiety in the +44 years right through to post-cancer was so heavy.

Would've loved more elaboration on the breakfast conversation he had with Tom and Travis when they planned the 2022 return of blink, but otherwise everything else was pretty much covered. A great, if not sobering and "realising" read.

Mark's a gift. This band is a gift. Every day is a gift.
