Drove up to Jacksonville to have lunch with my sister and happened to be next door to a Barnes & Noble. Just picked up a copy of Mark’s book.

 

In the tour thread already, but one of the rock radio stations in Buffalo went live early posting blink-182 with Alkaline Trio on September 11th outdoors at Darien Lake

 

They better cool it with these tour dates otherwise Tom’s gonna

 

Tom also likes money.

I like to give them money to play while I drink IPAs and sing a long.

 

Will fly for this tour if I need to.

Gonna start Fahrenheit 451 today with the goal of starting Fahrenheit 182 after receiving it at Mark’s Chicago stop on the 16th. A whole month of Fahrenheit reading!

THe Green Day tidbit is not at all surprising though a bit sad. If anyone ever saw the behind the scenes special MTV did you could tell there was visible tension with Green Day both internally and externally at the time.

Same - paid for a signed copy thru Premire Collectables. Still no update but it says you'll get a shipping email once the release date happens.

Side note - Mark did a pretty lengthy interview on Barstool's Pardon My Take... he was asked about Dude Ranch and the.. well other meaning:

No signing. After reading the book, you'll understand why lol

 

Gonna assume it's the same reason he won't do meet and greets anymore? Or maybe because of how frustrated they were signing the OMT copies trying to land that #1 album slot.

 

He talks about living with OCD and anxiety around setting sick in a few different chapters. I don't know if that's all of it, but it probably factors into it.
