To each their own but Toby is one of the coolest ppl ever! And his podcast is rad!!!

 

Some little Blink tidbits from that podcast:

- Blink talked about playing "Elevator" live
- Tom has a new album title that he's very stoked about haha
- Blink is demoing new stuff this summer

 

Elevator would be interesting, but I think the side project medley they have been doing is a better option.

 

Well today just got better - new Tom podcast and my local bookstore has Mark's book. Gonna go scoop it today even though I preordered a signed copy. I will gift the extra to a friend after I read it of course, lol.

 

I have a physical copy of the book coming when I go to his event, so I'm excited to just dive into the audiobook next weekend.

 

I finished the book last night. Really funny, really heavy, really great.

 

Layton, UT Barnes and Noble had it! No signed editions though, and I even asked the guy, and he said the signed one isn't even in their warehouse. So probably not likely for actual release day either. But rad to get this a week early.

 

Shoutout to the crew! I would have never thought to go early if people hadn’t posted in here. I probably won’t have time to start reading this until the weekend but i’m psyched!

 

OLOC pod ripped, Tom just seems so much more calm and secure in who he is these days. Hopefully Toby completes the trifecta and gets Mark at some point. These interviews are so relaxed and fun.

 

Interview was fine, didn’t learn much but agree with the above, Tom just seems like he’s comfortable in his own skin which is refreshing.

I wouldn’t mind if they never release a new album. It sounds like they are and I’m pumped for it.

I felt this way before, but after reading Mark’s book, I just feel like all I want is for those 3 to be genuine friends. Or rather stay genuine. Reading about how bad the Neighborhoods time was and Mark pretty early on seeing Tom just using it for money was really depressing. Then to have Tom just quit again anyway. Add in how Mark was the one who refused initially to even consider Tom coming back and was so against it. I totally get why (hell, I was an anti Tom coming back guy, too) but again, really depressing.

The fact that not only did they reunite and, as far as we know, are back to being legit friends again, they also put out one of their best albums. Anything beyond this is bonus for me. I’d rather they enjoy each other and only tour if that’s what they want eventually. It seems like that won’t be happening, I’m just saying my focus is their brotherhood over new music. But I’ll gladly jam whatever they do from here on out.

 

Yeah definitely confused by that. Also the reddit peeps are freaking out that he unfollowed blink and Travis.

 

If it’s not a prank for tomorrow I will eat all the shoes I own.

 

I love gabbing about all kinds of Blink stuff, but "following/unfollowing" stuff is where I draw the line haha.

I called my local books a million yesterday to see if they had a copy and they told me they had 12 and could hold a copy for me. I said that would be great and I would pick it up soon.

Went in and they said it wasn’t left at the desk but they could go grab it. It wasn’t on the shelf and they would go out back to grab it. I said cool and waited. They came and said “yeah….we can’t sell it yet because it’s not released yet” I said thank you and left.

They had blue spikey hair, tattoos, and piercings. Doesn’t seem very punk rock to me to not sell ME Marks new book

I just noticed this too.

 

My kid woke me up at 4:30 am and I got a pretty decent chunk into Fahrenheit. I guess I didn’t know what to expect but it’s great and extremely vulnerable. Loving it so far,

 

Well it looks like I have to eat all my shoes which is a lot so I’ll probably spread it out over the next week or two.

(That said, he unfollowed everyone except AvA, Blink, and TTS.)

 

I think one of my favorite parts of Mark’s book is all of the little stories he tells that obviously influenced his songs. Like the little part where he explains what “cliff diving” is and his story that eventually became “fighting the gravity”

and the fact that he went on a date with melissa joan hart haha

 

Cleaning up your Instagram isn’t classified as a prank. Get some sauce ready to make those shoes palatable.
