Any time someone shits on production and then provides examples of what they think are “good” is always a self-own. Usually the muddiest examples you can come up with because there’s a weird group of people who hate polished sounding records, especially in this genre.

 

I don't know who this is, but also I feel like this is super not the majority case?

Compared to reddit/social media I really feel like Chorus is over all very fair/positive to artists.

 

Yeah I feel like a lot of us go out of our way NOT to talk shit about artists lol. (Unless they end up in the accountability thread, anyway)

 

agreed 100%. his whole role on the pod was to be grouchy about stuff. It’s a place for die hards to be passionate about bands and their take. that’s why i’m here.

 

Can’t say for certain that it dethrones untitled but I think OMT is inching its way to #1 blink record for me. I’ve been playing pt 1&2 as my go to background work music, and it’s just relentlessly good. Such a celebration of the legacy. probably 50% of the time anthem 3 plays after the record is over and I just let it keep playing.

 

Nostalgia will never put it in my top 3, but I think it’s firmly my #4.

Can we get a Blink/YC tour in 2026???

 

With the pop punk resurgence having no end in sight having a stacked lineup of legacy bands would be rad. Turnstile was nuts, and I get PTV, but having Yellowcard and a couple other legacy openers who are crushing right now would be a lot of fun. Especially if WWWY specifically saying they’re playing hits from the older albums is leading to an era’s style summer tour for them. Get H20 up there too similar to Green Day having Rancid be the opener on their massive tour last summer. An OG band would be very cool.

 

Something like Blink / Yellowcard / TWY would be cool

 

blink and Yellowcard should tour and it should be only them. YC opens with an hour long set. What else would you need?

I really do want Blink to do a full on pop punk tour. Last few openers were Turnstile, ADTR, and PTV.
