Even worse they aren’t on streaming. It’s easy money for the band and the record label.

 

I have to go to Youtube to listen to them from time to time and it feels barbaric.

 

Wish I didnt sell my vinyl that had the 3 EPs with it

 

Put them in your Apple Music library? Add them locally to your Spotify?

For real. I’ve had these added to the album in apple music for years and it’s wonderful

 

Me and my kid at a kids themed blink cover band show in Westchester. Band was as good as you'd expect but they had some deep cuts - boring, give me one good reason, every time I look for you.

They're playing again in Brooklyn in April I think, if any of you are interested.

 

Looks like they posted an updated audio to this. Going to check it out later.

George's date: "So yeah - I'm totally into blink. Even have a tattoo."

George: "That's fantastic... can I see it? I'm an old school fan - haven't gotten ink myself of course."

G.D.: "Sure - even have the smiley face logo above their name!"

George: "I see... so how long have you been a fan?"

G.D.: "Basically my whole life. Travis has been my favorite drummer ever since I heard Dude Ranch."

*George visibly cringes*

George: "Ah! Yes... yes of course... Dude Ranch... where Travis was most definitely the drummer... mmhmm. Let me ask you this - I noticed your tattoo has "Blink" with a capital "B" and no hyphen between "Blink" and the "182." Was that your design or the did you maybe give the tattoo artist some liberties there?"

G.D.: "No No - it was all my own design"

*George's cringe intensifies*

George: "... got it... got it... and the smiley logo... 6 arrows?"

G.D's: "Yeah?"

George: "Yeah... I gotta go. This was.... nice. I'll call ya sometime"

BACK AT JERRY'S APARTMENT

Jerry: "How'd it go with that girl you met at the coffee shop? You said you guys had a ton in common."

George: "Meh"

Jerry: "Meh? You said she was a big blink fan... you love blink!"

George: "CAPITAL B AND NO HYPHEN JERRY.... CAPITAL B...... NO HYPHEN"

Jerry: "NO HYPHEN?! AND A CAPITAL B?"

George: "NO HYPHEN... CAPITAL B"

 

Rest of the episode:
Kramer and newman get Jackie chiles to sue the band because they started a band in the 90s called "182". "This will be the best music case since rolling stones sued rolling stone!"

Elaine dates a guy who says he's in the band only to find out it's toms guitar tech Jesus. She wants to go backstage and security stops her "but I know Jesus! He's in the band!" "ma'am this is a blink 182 concert, you won't find Jesus here"

It comes out that Jerry has never been to a rock concert his entire life because he finds them unsanitary. "Come on Jerry don't you ever wanna let loose and rock out?" "I refuse to rock!"

 

Kramer bursts through the door: "Welp! It's "I wore cologne'! "

 

Blink Italia has been finding so much never seen footage lately. It rocks.

 

But can they find me some DR or Untitled demos

 

Can you imagine those guys when they find the Blinkumentary footage...

i’d obviously love to see the blink doc but i really wanted the peter mckinnon doc where tom was psyched to be a musician again leading to blink coming back. that one also seems lost too. would love the interviews at least though.

 

Yeah Peter does killer work would’ve loved to see it as well

 

Seinfeld blink related episodes should be an absolute regular addition to this thread:

Jerry dates a cute merch woman who works for the band, who keeps giving him the worst t-shirts to wear thinking they'll look good on him.

George: "she wants you to wear THAT?"
Jerry: "I didn't even go to the show, and now I gotta wear the t-shirt?"

As the tour/relationship goes on he then sees Newman wearing the tour t-shirts and gets suspicious.

George, after a quick Wikipedia search to impress a date/fan and her friends, says his favorite album is Neighborhoods. When they laugh and exile him from the group, he tries to recover by saying 'LOVE Part II'

Just before Dumpweed, Mark points to Elaine and says "this next song is for that lady right there!", sending her into a spiral about what he meant by the dedication.

Kramer somehow ends up as part of Travis' entourage.

 

Kramer gets hit in the head with a drumstick at the show and the rest of the week he randomly yells “MATT SKI-BA!”

 

Peter said a long time ago he had no story, just tons of interviews and b roll, and admitted he was in over his head.
