    Things have changed.

The year of festivals continues with Aftershock. A few others to be announced still.

Selling my WWWY ticket and planning to go to another fest. Debating if that should be Aftershock or if I should wait to see if there's something blink-related closer to the midwest coming up.

What began as an annual +44 play through has devolved into every blink adjacent release from this era. Got a bunch of head down work to do this morning. Going to blow through BCR, DED, and the LOVE albums this morning.

BCR is a stellar record. Cat Like Thief is by far my favorite blink universe feature. The instrumental is also my favorite of all the interludes. After this run through I do think I prefer +44 to BCR, but that may be because I have way less listens on +44 and it feels so fresh every time. Truly astounding how many amazing releases we got between BCR and Neighborhoods. The biggest thing Neighborhoods is lacking is an external person producing with a fresh set of eyes and ears on that album. These albums sound so much better. Truly bummed I didn’t make it out to a BCR show. Give us the Blink and friends tour / fest you cowards.

Was pleasantly surprised by how much I dug this play of Neighborhoods. DED was opposite. It is a nice little run and gun release, but there isn’t anything particularly mind blowing about this one. That Yelawolf feature was something else. Boxing Day is also a really dumb blink song that I love.

Between Love 1 & 2 there’s one killer album. It is pretty tired though overall using the AVA formula. Tom definitely hit a creative low from Love until Lifeforms. Shove is probably my favorite song from this release.

That deep dive was unexpected but very fun.

Yeah the best description of DED is that the song order is actually the song ranking of the album. I think @bradsonemanband said that.

Need to scoop the +44 vinyl. I have a super rad Whisper variant. Loved the color scheme with the +44 release.

That +44 vinyl was an easy purchase. They tricked me into buying Boxcar too. Bastards

Hell yeah I got both of them, two albums I’ve been looking for for a long time. I’ve been close to pay crazy amounts of money for them over the last few years, so happy.
