As much as seeing Matt on stage with them last night was awesome, and something I'd love to see again if Alk3 and Blink are on the same tour/festival, in the same city or whatever...

Blink should remain as Mark, Tom and Travis.

I was in training at a new job that day, and I remember running out to my car for a "bathroom break" and listened to the premiere, and I was losing my mind at how great, and I literally yelled "woooo!"

 

my woooo came at that first pre-chorus. Still remember those chills

 

Was the track released the same day pre-orders for California went up? I remember that day because I never bought a bundle before but the ones they had were ridiculously inexpensive. I got a signed record, a signed mini drumhead, a hoodie, and a pin for like $120 shipped.

Finally got round to pre-ordering a copy of Mark's book. Really excited to read it.

 

I’m holding off on preordering until he announces his book tour. Would love a Chicago signing!

 

Do we have delivery dates yet on the book? That was such a long time ago now when he first put those up for presale.

 

April 8 is its release date. So sometime around then.

 

I totally forgot I pre ordered this already. Almost placed a second order.

I’ve grown to generally hate fan q&a’s unless it’s presented questions. So often very few interesting questions are asked and a lot of time is used for that fan to freak out from being in the same room with celebrities.

As always, I am sure there are exceptions where the fans collectively did great. But I really can’t think of a single q&a I’ve either been at, listened to, or watched that I wasn’t rolling my eyes throughout the whole thing.

Haha - I vaguely remember watching one and the moderator said "remember your question should finish with a question mark".

My preferred structure is probably similar to yours im guessing? Author and a friend of theirs up front. Majority of the time is the Author reading excerptsand then discusses a bit with the friend (repeat). Maybe handful of questions at the end.

 

I'm uncultured and have never been to a book tour... how large are these events typically? And how long do they last?

 

Will 100% be going to the book tour. Even in small hopes of meeting Mark again.

it’s cool with me if it’s all questions, but there needs be some intentional effort put into what questions get asked and how it’s asked.
