I like how every physical setlist since who knows when calls it "Feelin This" rather than "Feeling This." They're trying to Mandela Effect us/themselves.

 

I fully expect one song with Matt as a surprise. It would be weird if they had it on a setlist posted online. MTYK getting the axe is devastating. One of my favorite parts of that glorious set this summer.

Ripping through NINE today. I hadn’t fully accepted this album for what it is and connected with this record until just before OMT came out. Generally as an album from them it ranks lower for me but when I’m in the mood I really love it. Now that the SKiba era is over my love for these albums has grown as an awesome side quest for blink.

 

Realizing that’s likely the set for their Spotify Super Bowl thing and probably not for the Hollywood Palladium show. Yeah that set makes sense for that kind of event, but hopefully they keep those deep cuts for the other show

 

Wait, that's a great point. The superbowl show is in a couple of days and 100% will be geared towards their greatest hits staples.

My Easter egg theory on MTYK - “I’ve been numb and sinking down like a stone” - alluding to suicidal thoughts i.e. Chester and Chris Cornell

 

Really solid theory, good catch.

 

I picked up on the Chester/Chris connection fairly quick after the song came out, but never framed in the reference of suicide. I always just thought it was a nod to them as musicians/people. Now that you say it, I can see it in that way now.

I think you’re right. this set seemed the most phoned in since the reunion based on a couple clips I saw. It’ll be rad if the benefit show has some surprises and additional songs. If skiba does play a song or two it’s going to be all over the internet.

hahah this is me until 3 or 4 years ago that spotify showed me the lyrics.

 

If you watch blink’s radio show concert performance in San Diego in 2000, Tom questions the WMAA lyric and Mark has to tell him it’s cologne and Tom is suprised. Mark proceeds to make fun of him because they had been playing that song live every night for over a year.
