I cannot stand Bert Kreisher. I'm 5 minutes in but don't think I can make it much longer.

 

The absolute worst. I've seen "influencers" who deserve more success than this dude.

 

I am jumping around and it’s just Bert as a host. He is fawning a lot and it’s pretty insufferable ( I watch all your mtv shows! I love that you love running! You did my event I am doing yours!) A lot of the classic talking points from other podcasts, nothing meaningful in terms of new music insights or news. lol Bert makes everything about himself and keeps calling him buddy.

 

I've only listened to one episode of this podcast because of Nick Hexum. The second Nick would talk about anything interesting, Bert would derail it almost immediately. He'd interrupt him as if to add something relevant to the discussion, but it would just be some unrelated, long-winded anecdote.

 

I looked at the comments and it’s mostly people giving him shit for not being a good host, but i saw a number of them from people who wouldn’t otherwise listen to an hour long sit down with travis and they loved it, so I guess that’s cool.It seems mostly intended to promote that both of the camps are doing social 5ks. i hope the travis run comes to Colorado, Thats would rule. Way cooler than a meet and greet imo.

Wasn't a bad listen. General Travis stuff we all know; plane crash/recovery and getting back into drums and into running. His veganism and health, sobriety and how he got back on a plane was interesting.

Bullet points:
- Travis rules, is super grounded and the friend we should all strive to be.
- He's still very passionate about cars.
- Loves putting on 5k's to get new people into health, running, etc.
- No blink updates apart from the benefit show coming up.
- Bert sucks, and is a shitty interviewer.

 

Funny part too when Bert mentions his daughter went to see Pierce The Veil and had no idea who blink was but ending up loving them. "Dad have you ever heard of blink-182?" lol

Yeah I'd be pretty surprised if they aren't bringing Matt out on stage to perform 1 or 2 songs. That setlist seems like a nice little warm up to remember what they were doing and definitely not the final one.

 

Matt's gonna come out to play "Blame It On My Youth" and that's it.
