In the same universe in which 'When We Were Young' and 'You Don't Know What You Got' exist? Have to disagree with you there.

 

Like both of those a lot more than Edging

 

Both songs are better. I don’t want to hate on EDGING, but it’s weak sauce compared to the rest of the album.

 

It probably is the worst non joke song on the album. Every first single from their albums have been memorable, Edging felt too safe even though it is catchy. I don't mind it now within the album.

makes me tear up every time.

 

You Don't Know What You Got is one of the best songs on the album. Get out of here with that nonsense!


...but yeah When We Were Young is far and away the worst song on the album lol

 

I was at WWWY Fest this year and EVERY SINGLE TIME I saw "When We Were Young" on someone's shirt, festival banner, merch, toilets, etc. I would immediately have the Delonge voice in my head singing "when we were youououououng"

 

EDGING is worth it just for the background vocal "DOOT, DOOT!" in the pre-chorus.

 

The bridge is fantastic too. I just wish the chorus was better.

Yeah the bridge and verses crush. I feel like the second repeated "you don't know what you've got" could've been a different lyric and wouldn't stand out so much as repeat, repeat, repeat. I dig the song though and definitely still rock through this entire record without skipping anything still.

 

blink announced for WWWY 2025 "playing songs from EOTS, TOYPAJ, Untitled and more".

Definitely will have more dates surrounding this and I wonder if they'll make it a Eras (Errors) type tour.

Which is not a complaint, but it’s stupid to advertise it that way.

 

Unless they're playing all/most of the deep cuts, then yeah, what a weird thing to include on there.

So they are noting it because Panic at the Disco is playing A Fever in full. My hope is that it means an eras type thing but highly doubt it.

It wouldn't surprise me if more bands with a giant discography (especially full of radio hits) pull a T Swift and do an Eras tour type thing, since Fall Out Boy did something like that this year.

 

Which honestly wasn't THAT mind blowing because it was basically their normal setlist just played in chronological album order.

 

I feel a little like I'm going crazy that setlists consisting of songs from albums a band has released are being called "eras tours" ... and not just ... a set.

 

the main difference is the songs are grouped together by album
